Never been so disappointed..
I never write bad reviews but I have tried to contact the property managers on multiple occasions with no response. The only positive about this stay is the location. Otherwise, as previous reviews state the gardens are not maintained. I was willing to let that go, however there were many issues. The bins were not taken out. There are cobwebs in every corner of the home- I wish I was exaggerating. The air con does not work- when I spoke to Wendy she told me to wait a bit because it needed time- then stopped responding when I asked for further advice. The body wash and hand soap they provided was empty. The sink had grime in it. The glass cupboard door in the kitchen is smashed. I wiped the floor when I spilled some water and it appeared as if they had not mopped for months. The furniture is not the same as the photos posted and the lounges are covered with blankets, because they are stained and have holes in them. The list goes on. We also were provided with zero check out information. I tried to contact them following our stay to address these matters and have not received a response at all. Save your money, do not stay here.

Good property- great location.
Arrived to bins overflowing and rubbish on the driveway and throughout the front yard. Garage remote was not supplied as mentioned. Furniture was different to the pictures and the gardens need some love. A number of blinds are broken and overall the property needs some tlc and repairs.

Fabulous location
This was a lovely home in a quiet and peaceful yet central location. Upon arrival it was clean and warm as the owner had thoughtfully had the heating turned on. It was spacious and there was plenty of room for all 7 adults. The only suggestions that I would make would be to have a few more kitchen utensils and items ie flip bottle opener, potato masher and some platters and salad bowls. Also clear and easy TV instructions would be great. Overall we had a very comfortable stay.

Canberra was fun, this place not so much
This house is in a good location & has the potential to be an 'executive' holiday letting but it is nowhere near that standard. For this reason, it is a misleading description and photographs and outrageously overpriced. The garden & lawns were overgrown. The keys were loose. The outside had not been cleaned for some time with spider webs & debris all around the doors & windows. The living area was spacious, but the furniture & arrangement of the seating area are nothing like the photograph. In fact, some of the sofa furniture was old & stained with holes (covered over with blankets). There were also multiple screens & remote controls with no instructions on what or how to use any of them. The dining area & kitchen were good, but the oven had not been cleaned for some time. The rest of the place was spacious, comfortable & surface clean, but it was not 'executive' standard, and basic amenities, such as screens & blinds did not work. But the worst thing was the air-con. We were there during a Canberra heat wave and the air-con simply didn't work. I raised this with the manager but was told it was on; I said it may be on but it was not working effectively. It was oppressive especially for young children. I then received no further messages. If you're reading this review & considering this place, I would not recommend staying there unless & until you see reviews that show the manager/owner has rectified the shortcomings to justify 'executive' and the very high price.

Needs improvement
My wife and friends stayed at this property over two nights. The property hadn’t been reviewed before so read on… It was listed as a luxury accommodation with a luxury per night price set in an upmarket area of Canberra. Nice photos included in the Stayz profile. However, the property was sadly in need of some attention and did not match the listed photos or description. I took this up with the property manager after the stay, and fortunately he was attentive and responsive. After consulting with the owner a partial refund has been approved. Credit to them for taking the feedback seriously. I wouldn’t go so far to recommend future travellers don’t stay at this property but they should check on the following issues: Currency of any listed photos or property description; maintenance of lawn and gardens; air conditioning working; toilets operating properly, quality of bedding and towels (including top sheets fitted); instructions manual or guide; kitchen basics like reasonable quality coffee, tea bags and sugar. The house itself is lovely and location stunning - it should be a luxury stay. With some attention to detail it has the potential to be great.
