The Space:
This beautifully designed 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment features an open plan kitchen/dining/living space with Bosch kitchen appliances, Caesar Stone bench tops, a 4- burner gas cooktop and under-bench oven. A dining setting seats 4 people and flows through to the living space with 2 sofas (the larger folds out to a double bed if required) and a large flatscreen TV. Floor-to-ceiling glass stacker doors showcase uninterrupted views of Black Mountain from a private balcony which can be completely enclosed, or opened up with another set of glass stacker doors with that magnificent view of Canberra’s highest peak and Lake Burley Griffin off to the left. The bedroom has a queen size bed, while a slick, frosted-glass enclosed bathroom features floor-to-ceiling tiles and a roomy, frameless glass shower recess. A European style laundry houses a front loader washing mashing and Bosch dryer.
If you’re a working traveler, the dining table and breakfast counter serve as workstations, supported by fast and unlimited WIFI available throughout the apartment.
Because of the building’s high energy star rating, electric air-conditioning is not required. Cleverly designed windows create natural cross-ventilation and a complete air-conditioning effect. In the winter, the apartment is heated from solar panels across the entire roof which heats up a thermal hot water system.
This apartment also comes with secure undercover car parking.

‘New Acton’ is an innovative, cultural precinct that has well and truly put Canberra on the map for design, creativity and originality, offering a great diversity of attractions and experiences. You can explore culture, art and history throughout the numerous museums, galleries and archives, along with embassies, significant landmarks, markets, shopping and eateries all close at hand. Canberra’s CBD (Downtown) is just 10 minute stroll away, the Australian National University (ANU) is just 12 minutes on foot and you can even walk to Lake Burley Griffin in under 20 minutes. Visit Parliament House and take a guided tour to both debating chambers or visit The Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House, the National Capital Exhibition, National Museum of Australia, National Portrait Gallery, and the National Gallery of Australia – the choices are endless and all within a 10 minute drive of the Nishi Building.
If you’re more into recreational activities, you can explore the walking and bike trails of Lake Burley Griffin or hike up Red Hill to see kangaroos and other wildlife. Red Hill provides sweeping views, and you can be rewarded with a range of coffees and smoothies for your efforts. Mt Ainslie is another amazing lookout to enjoy, well worth the drive or hike.
Getting Around:
Although the apartment comes with its own undercover security parking spot, you’re in a great location for walking as mentioned earlier. Nearby bus services offer public transport options too.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.
* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.
* Extra $40/night will be charged for guests after 2 or if the sofa bed needs to be prepared.
*If you are eligible for a full refund as per our cancellation policy, a processing fee of $50 still applies.
*After check-in, if you choose to shorten your stay, you will receive a 50% refund of the unused nights of your booking.
