The Prince-
Influenced by the brick buildings of early Canberra, The Prince features a façade made of dry-pressed bricks from the Bowral Brickworks, and is designed by World Building of the Year (2012) winner, Architectus. Interiors feature timber floors, high ceilings, granite benchtops and brass feature lighting, and are designed by Melbourne interior design firm Hecker Guthrie.

It was a wonderful property in a great location. Spotlessly clean and contained everything you needed. Within walking distance of many great restaurants and coffee shops. Close to local shopping. Would definitely stay there again.

Great apartment, terrible key access system
We did enjoy our stay in this well-appointed apartment, until we tried to leave. The number lock on the letterbox was extremely difficult to use because one of the tumblers is quite loose, and the handle itself is extremely stiff and would not move. I gave up after 25 minutes and messaged the host. I ended up putting the keys through the mail slot so they were secure. I then received a message requesting me to leave the keys in the apartment. When I tried to reply with what I had done the page would no longer accept my messages to the host. There appeared to be no other way to inform someone of what had happened or to get immediate help. This was all very frustrating and time consuming. Accessing the keys at the start of our stay was also difficult because of the position of the mailbox & the location of the lockbox at the very back, requiring a torch to see the tumblers & gymnastics to access them. An entirely new system needs to be installed. We were very happy with the apartment itself.
