This beautiful, completely restructured and refurbished 160m2 vacation chalet is located in Pian Frataces, 4 km far from Canazei Canazei, an enchanting town in the heart of the Dolomite mountains in Italy's South Tyrol region. The chalet consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 5 bedrooms as well as 3 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 10 people. The chalet features Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls), satellite television, a DVD player and VCR, central heating, a strong box, a washing machine, bike deposit, and ski storage. The chalet is suitable for children and a highchair is available (upon request). Guests can enjoy the breathtaking mountain landscapes from the balcony and relax outdoors in the furnished garden or cook on the grill, both private features. The chalet is located just 30 m from the famous Sella Rona ski circuit that leads over four mountain passes. The chalet therefore serves as an excellent base for easy trekking journeys, long mountain excursions, or adventures in the Sella/Pordoi or Sassolungo groups, whether free-climbing, cycling, alpine skiing, or paragliding. There are a variety of restaurants, bars, cafes and other shops 20 minutes (13 km) away by car in the village of Cercena. Belluno Airport is a 1 hour 40 minute (83 km) drive from the property.

Awesome Ski Getaway
The house is spacious and the bathrooms are clean and numerous. The Wi-Fi struggled to host all our devices so make sure to grab a SIM card if you are visiting from the US! We loved the location - a drive uphill from town but close to both green and orange Sellaronda cable cars. Jimmy was great!

Walking holiday in the Dolomites
The setting is beautiful. There are some great strenuous walks available from the chalet without getting in the car. Mountain bikers would love it. Jimmy is very friendly and helpful. A welcome pack of accurate local information would have been an asset. There were two days when we did not have internet as the host had forgotten the password. This made communication with our son who was arriving separately very difficult.There were various maps etc but info such as days when the supermarket would be closed, etc would have been useful. We stayed in June, just before the area opened up properly for the summer season. The joy was that it was not too busy and there was always parking available in the towns. The downside was that some restaurants and hotels worked to limited opening times. If you stay, walk, ride near any of the mountain passes in the Dolomites be aware that the beauty of nature will be spoiled to the a soundtrack of boy racers in cars and on motorbikes. They are very intrusive.

Crepes de Sela
Very nice apartment, but would be difficult (tight) for 10 adults unless they all get along perfectly. Photos are accurate. Kitchen well equipped. Toilets flush well. Good water pressure. Beds are smallish, and the showers are very small by American standards (their floor space measures less than 3’ by 3’). Desirability of location dependent on your desire. For us, an off-season stay in October, it was remote; in ski season I would imagine it is hopping. Location is a great base for day drives to see sites in the area.

Top huis met geweldig uitzicht.
Pros: De eigenaren van het huis stonden altijd klaar voor ons als we vragen hadden. Een super service is de mogelijkheid om brood te laten bezorgen in de ochtend. Het huis is hoogwaardig afgewerkt en van alle gemakken voorzien. Cons: Om bij het huis te komen moet een paar honderd meter onverhard (stenig) worden begaan. Denk hieraan als je met de racefiets komt. Wij hebben met 6 wielrenners in 1 week overigens niet lek gereden.

Fantastische Lage, tolles Haus und super sympathischer Gastgeber!
Pros: Die Lage des Hauses ist wirklich atemberaubend! Egal auf welcher Seite man aufwacht, man hat immer einen fantastischen Blick auf die Dolomiten. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, dabei super ausgestattet und bietet ausreichend Platz für 10 Personen. Jimmy ist ein super Gastgeber. Bei Fragen und Tipps für die Umgebung konnten wir uns immer direkt an ihn wenden. Und sein Brötchenservice hat uns den Morgen versüßt. Wir können das Haus also uneingeschränkt empfehlen und werden wiederkommen!

Pros: Lage gut bei viel Schnee noch besser, Nah an den Liften Außerhalb und bis nach Canazei Mitte 5 km Cons: In der Beschreibung unklar, wo das Haus ist. Falsche Strassenangabe, daher in Google nicht der richtige Standpunkt. Richtige Straße erst durch den Besitzer erfahren Strada dolomites 10. Sollte in der Beschreibung dringend geändert werden.
