1818 Modern Farm House with Pool, Hot Tub and a large permanent dock on the lake

PLEASE NOTE - For one week, in late April or early May 2025, the pool will be closed for replastering. Final date to be determined in spring based on weather. The upper patio, hot tub and fire pit are all still useable, just the pool area is closed for the week of work. Dates are being finalized as of March 2025. Please reach out if you have questions.

This Property is owned and managed by Lupton Properties. The VRBO calendar is always up to date. if there are no summer weeks showing, it is booked.

This is a one of a kind Finger Lakes vacation experience. With 2 Acres of mowed lawn, a heated 20 x 40 foot gunite, in ground pool, hot tub, screened porch, gourmet kitchen (soapstone counters, farm sink, subzero fridge, gas range, secondary ovens/fridge) and a gas fire pit by the pool - this is the premier retreat. We believe you will love this spot as much as we have, It is close to Wegmans, Bristol - skiing, hiking and great activities.

This was our private home. We live in the area and want to be certain that those interested in renting our property will be respectful of it and our neighbors.

Check in time is at 4:00 PM day of arrival and check out time is at 10:00 AM day of departure. In the peak summer months we only rent for seven days, Saturday to Saturday.

We would ask that all users shower before entering and be careful not to go from the lake or the lawn directly into the tub/pool as this brings in unwanted dirt and debris.

Great Getaway
We had a wonderful week in the finger lakes area. This property was beautiful with lots of amenities and space to spread out. Al was easy to work with and added to our overall positive experience. We would stay again if back in the area.

Amazing getaway
Our group had an amazing week enjoying the pool and the beautiful house. Plenty of space inside to relax, amazing kitchen, very clean and close to many shops and activities. Planning to return next year!

Family Reunion
Family from Chicago, Minnesota, Wisconsin, New Jersey and New Hampshire all came together in this beautiful home for a family reunion. We enjoyed the fire pit, and nice hot tub soaks while enjoying the beautiful view. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Location was perfect for trips to Watkins Glen, Niagara Falls, Lake Ontario and Rochester. We all enjoyed it and would come back again!

Fantastic Lakeside Family Retreat
This house is a great place to enjoy a holiday with family with a large spacious kitchen and plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the lake views and the proximity to the town of Canandaigua. We hope to be able to return sometime soon!

Terrific house
We were in town for our daughter’s graduation from college. We had 10-people total from 20 to 80-yrs. It was perfect place for us and had plenty room. We would definitely come back. Note the property does have waterfront access, but it is a walk down the road.

Family get-together
Gorgeous home with lots of character. Owners we’re great to work with. Would stay there again. However, the dock is a decent walk down the road and I didn’t realize it wasn’t connected to the property by viewing the listing. Highly recommend if you do t expect to have lake access right from the house.

Perfect Getaway House
My 2 sisters and I rented this amazing property for a cousin reunion. It had been nine years since our last one. People came from NYC, Florida, California, Greece NY and Pittsford NY. We enjoyed the heated pool, the fire pit and the dock on Canandaigua down the road. The house was impeccably furnished and very comfortable.

Great Property
Stayed with extended family for a wedding in Rochester (12 in all). An absolutely gorgeous house and property. Usually, pictures can be hit or miss, in this case the description and pictures are spot on and then some. A big plus was the good sized fenced in backyard area as we had the family dog with us. Directions for all amenities are descriptive and well thought out. Communication with owner was great. Gathered in the incredible oversized kitchen, around the firepit and enjoyed walks to the lake (a little too cool to use the pool but looked awesome). Played lawn games in the oversized side yard and all in all had a wonderful stay.

FAMILY VACATION
This was a beautiful, spacious home which was just what we needed for our large family. The kitchen was amazing and had everything we needed. The home was very clean and decorated. We enjoyed playing games and reading on the screened in porch. The hot tub, fire pit and pool were enjoyed also. We did rent a boat to enjoy the lake. The host, Alan was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would highly recommend this place to vacation.

Finger Laking Good
Beautiful spacious house convenient to town and lake with nice private pool. I had two adult daughters and their spouse/fiances and grandchild and everyone had a nice private room. Some had to work during stay and they could always find a nook to disappear. Kitchen was very modern and well-equipped.

Wonderful!
The house and amenities were spectacular! Alan was so easy to reach and respond. We hope to return in nicer weather to really get to enjoy the beauty of the property and area. Only recommendation would be to put a blind on the master bathroom window near the deck and a door to this same bathroom. It was a wonderful experience!

Felt like home!
The property/house is absolutely beautiful! From the moment we all stepped in it felt like home. We didn’t want to leave. It was immaculate! I usually don’t walk around in my bare feet except at home but here I did as I said it felt like home! The pool was perfect for the grandkids. It was a great time for us all to reconnect as a family! Great Family Vacation Home
All of the amenities made our family vacation wonderful. The pool and the hot tub were very popular and the stroll to the lake gave nice opportunities for leisurely walks and access to kayaking and fishing. The house provided many living spaces for relaxing, family game playing and dining. The large kitchen and grilling area made meal preparation very convenient. All the bedrooms and bathrooms easily accommodated all 16 members of our family. The house was meticulously clean and very nicely decorated with antiques and vintage inspired accessories emphasizing its history. The owner was very accommodating and made our stay very pleasant. All 16 of us highly recommend this vacation home.

Fantastic Home
We had a fantastic stay at this historic property that easily accommodated our large group of 6 adults and 8 young kids. The house was immaculately clean, charming, and well-maintained. The spacious kitchen was a standout feature, and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor amenities such as the pool, hot tub, fire pit, and screened porch with a TV. Almost everything we needed was provided, and the property's convenient location near commercial areas and the historic downtown area made shopping a breeze. We loved the quick walk to the lake and had a great time using the dock and kayaks. The host was incredibly attentive, responsive, and helpful, ensuring that our entire experience from booking to departure was smooth. We're already excited about the possibility of returning in the future.

Wonderful family week.
The house was easily big enough for 8 adults and 6 children. It was very clean. We loved the huge kitchen with two dishwashers and two islands. The pool was perfect and quite large. Loved the ping pong table. The only down side is that it is a 5 minute walk through another property to get to the small dock and the water is filled with aquatic plants-not at all swimmable. A very small murky entry into the lake if you want to kayak. Two people used the kayaks twice. Otherwise, the house was perfect with lots of beds for our large family.

Beautiful, well-maintained property with fantastic views - great for large groups
Our stay was wonderful! We had a large group of 8 adults and 4 young kids and the property was accommodating that we barely left. The house is historic, but clean, beautiful, and well-maintained. There was plenty of space, (especially the kitchen!) and the outdoor amenities (pool, hot tub, fire pit, screened porch with TV) were a hit. The house provided almost everything you could need, so you only need to bring yourself and personal items. But the location is so convenient that you can go to Wegman's and Walmart for anything. Not only is the property near the commercial area, it's right by the historic/downtown area and city pier. The lake is a very short walk from the house and the dock and kayaks were great to have access to. The host was so accommodating, responsive, and helpful that he made our stay an easy process from booking to departure. I would definitely stay here again and looking forward to it!

Thanksgiving 2023
A lovely property with lots of space to spread out. The kitchens are amazing. Only suggestions are: Have Coffee and tea available for first mornings brewing. Have more than one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom and at lease one extra roll of paper towels. We didn't see the bath towels on the porch until the last morning and were short of towels. I couldn't find a tablespoon measuring spoon. the late check in (4 PM) makes it feel like we lost half a day for what we paid for. We all have hot tubs and felt this one was not clean or needed the filter changed as there was small white stuff mixed in with the water.

Incredible House- Incredible Location- Beautiful Property
WOW! The pictures do not do this property justice- it really is so beautiful. I stayed with a group of 15 for my friend's Bachelorette celebration and this house had enough beds, bathrooms, and amenities to make the weekend spectacular. The booking process was easy and everyone at Lupton was extremely friendly and kind- especially Kailey who provided suggestions and was incredible throughout the whole process! While the house was 5 stars- I would suggest to provide some more toilet paper (only 2 rolls in each bathroom) when servicing a larger group. By the final morning everyone was using the master bathroom because there was no more toilet paper. Also only provided with one roll of paper towels- these just seem like basic things you can easily provide especially when paying $$$ per night. Also- pool workers come every Friday at 2 PM- which is awesome as they cleaned and serviced the pool for our group- but we would've loved more of a heads up (even just a text the day before) as we were all down by the pool when they came. Overall- it was a great experience and if you are looking for a house that truly defines beauty and the excellence of the Finger Lakes- this should be on your list!

Can’t say Enough
Our family of 12 rented this house located near the northern part of the Canandaigua Lake. Great location near boat rentals, restaurants, ice cream stands, and parks - we went to all of them ! The house, the pool, the hot tub were all incredibly clean. The bedrooms were nice size and the upstairs bedrooms have additional A/C units which were great. The overly large kitchen has 2 dishwashers. 2 trash cupboards, and 2 large countertops. Tons of kitchen gadgets, small appliances and utensils - you won’t need to bring a thing ! One thing not mentioned in the property listing is that entire backyard is fenced in! A really nice surprise- great if you are bringing a pet like we did. There are also plenty of beach towels for the pool and hot tub so leave yours home ! We washed the towels only once ( laundry room is great ) We drove to 3 nearby wineries on the rainy days. My favorite part was all the large gathering spaces for our family to sit around the pool. The fire pit. The family room and dining spaces. The owner/host has instructions thru out the house which made using the hot tub and fire pit easy. I would highly recommend-especially for big families !

"Practically perfect in every way"
Part of me (the selfish part) is tempted to create an untrue story about how horrid this rental was, so that when we return--soon, God willing-- it will all be exactly like it was when we left last week. Nothing will have changed. Not the lovely front yard filled with elegant, mature trees, not the stone porch where we relaxed in the rockers and swung in the porch swing. Not the HUGE, beautiful kitchen with the 6-burner gas stove where we chatted and laughed and drank coffee and wine. Not the charming bedrooms with nooks and crannies and cubbyholes that the children took possession of immediately. Not the hot tub where our cares were swept away or the firepit where we told family stories or the "just right" swimming pool used by young and old alike. Or the dock where my 6 year old nephew proudly caught "a humungous fish". The owner could not have been better to work with--responsive, helpful and kind. The house and grounds were spotless and contained everything you could possibly need to have a comfortable, carefree stay. And although I know that it's the PEOPLE and not the house that make a vacation special and memorable, a "practically perfect" place just doesn;t hurt. Not a bit.
