Off Grid, Remote Log Cabin in the White Mountains
Unplug with the whole family at this peaceful, solar powered log cabin. Situated deep in the NH White Mountains this is the ultimate location for outdoor adventurers! Step off the porch and hike the beautiful forest surrounding you. Sit by the fire pit, BBQ with a view or go off site for even more adventure: float down the Baker River or visit the Polar Caves! Don’t feel like moving? Bring a good book and sit on the porch swing with a glass of wine! I must always reiterate this is a VERY REMOTE location and located on a class 6 road- 4 wheel drive is a must!

Great northen getaway
Beautiful and cozy cabin, with plenty of space and games! We were a big group of 7 adults and we really enjoyed our stay. With a fire place inside and out, it's the perfect spot for milk and cookies...! Would recommend! :)

Remote Cabin
Unfortunately I can only give this property an overall rating of 1 mainly because we did not have power upon arrival. This proprety was not as advertised. Yes, we were able to run a generator (again because solar panels were not working as stated) however, we were concerned that the generator would run out of gas (because it was not full) and a full can of gas was not provided. Wood for the outdoor firepit was not stacked and ready to use. It felt like this property was not properly prepared to accomodate guests as stated. We ended up leaving a day early because of the electricity situation and having food in coolers that we didn't want to spoil. On a side note, this is a remote cabin however, we are a family that is use to more remote and rustic cabins. We managed but this was not what we were expecting!

Nice place overall
The cabin was nice. I would recommend that they leave the paper with “rules” right at the door. Didn’t find it until 2nd day. Lost power a couple times and took awhile to reach owner. Besides that it’s a nice quiet place to get away.

Bear Cabin
We didn't encounter any bears or wildlife during our stay, however if we had Patti had us prepared with several cans of bear spray located throughout cabin for our use. The cabin is run on solar power which is limited. They did have a generator and spare gas can prepared for the generator to recharge the solar power cells should you drain the power during your stay. We made the mistake of having too many devices plugged in on our first day and drained the power mid way through our first night, however due to the preparedness of having the generator on site and ready to use we were able to keep running. Overall it was a fun and new experience.
