"Our extended family group (2 families + grandparent+visiting friends) had a fabulous stay at Martin's holiday home. The children in our group loved the pool and spent hours in it, while the adults especially enjoyed breakfasts and dinners in the beautiful garden, all accompanied by the sound of fresh running water from the mountains. "We really enjoyed our stay in La Rectoria, The house's very thick walls and spaciousness enabled us to relly enjoy our time there. The gardens are beautiful and the pool was a big plus. The only reasons I did not give it 5 stars is that it has only 2 bathrooms even though it sleeps 24 persons so it would be helpful to have a separate toilet and sink on the lower floor. "Not sure where to begin! The house is absolutely fabulous: vast rooms, very comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and fabulous garden with pool. It was just perfect for our family group with lots of space. The pictures in the listing don’t do it justice. Beautiful traditional French house in the centre of Saint Jean, a village we know well and love. Great central location with easy access to larger towns and the coast. Highly recommended!"
