Filomena was gracious for having a late evening dinner with local goodies in the fridge due to our late arrival, to taking us on a tour of her city. Once she discovered we were wine producers from California on a research trip of Nebbiolo, Sangiovese and Aglianico in the Basilicata wine region, she arranged the meeting of local Cantina owners to view their vineyards and very historic cantinas. Our trip to Tricarico was a success compliments of Filomena and her knowledge of the area as well as her acquaintances. The 2-bedroom spacious accommodations were perfectly centered to view the historical city of Tricarico while enjoying to modernization of WIFI, parking, churches and nearby stores and restaurants. We look forward to returning to this hidden gem of a city and with Filomena's guidance and grace."
