"We loved loved loved our stay at the Casale Del Gelso. 4 lovely bedrooms with private bathrooms made it easy for our family. The villa was spotless! All of the comfort we needed. The outdoors were spectacular, the garden, the olive trees and even a small chapel. Patricia and Luciano are now part of our family, they are absolutely wonderful. "Can’t say enough about this oasis of a property and the property owners! Sara was super responsive and a joy to get to know while we stayed here. The home is very clean and well-maintained- very comfortable. We rented the main house which the upper level apartment for a very reasonable cost. If the whole home is rented, 8 people can stay here very comfortably. Close to grocery stores and train stations too. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"Property is kinda hard to find. Our flight was delayed and it was pouring rain which made things much more complicated. Quaint place as advertised with a view from the terrace to see the monumental bridge and the sea. Hard to park as you have to park down over .5km and walk up that far."

"I was worried initially about staying due to some of the reviews, but I have to say my experience has been exceptional. I took my girlfriend away for her birthday and it was perfect for what I was looking for. Great price, lovely spacious room, own bathroom and shared kitchen facilities. Checking in was so easy as host waited up for us even after our flight was delayed and showed us around the accommodation. Great balcony with lovely views of surrounding area. Train to central Rome is a 20 minute walk away, so easy and in a nice village. There is a lovely lake (Castel Gandolfo) nearby which is stunning, only a 15 euro taxi. Missed the last train home from central Rome, but it was a 55 euro taxi which isn’t cheap but split between two is quite manageable. Overall had a very pleasant time, bed was comfy, room was large good kitchen and shower facilities, all at great value for money and within easy reach of central Rome and only 20 minutes by taxi from Rome Campiano airport. If you don’t mind getting the train into Rome would definitely recommend! "

"The property was great. Extremely peaceful and serene at night. The location is good too, with it being close to Rome. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. "

"The bedroom was nice and clean with AC and a little tv. The bed a very firm queen mattress placed low to the floor. The bathroom was very small with 2 toilets, a sink with a mirror, and a tall/narrow shower. The used towels and the used toilet paper is restocked daily. They do not speak a word of English. The bedding was not replaced once while staying there for 9 days. The door locks were very difficult to use."
