"The food served at both the breakfast and dinner were excellent. The shuttle bus was too small to accommodate the number of people from two hotels @ 9 am. The entrace for the Star Inn was not clear that it shared the drive with the Melia Hotel. "

"Front desk clerk was very friendly, inviting and efficient - a great first impression. Hotel was only 8 months old so cleanliness was good but inexplicably the shower stall was already leaking water! The room was rather cramped but comfortable. Our dinner was good and made better by excellent service. Since we had an early flight we partook of the breakfast. The variety wasn't bad but it was in no way a good value for what we got. "

There are many hotels close by to dine at. Also the Santa Justa lift is right around the corner and Rossio Square is just down the road. We loved everything about this hotel. "The Mundial is I a great location to enjoy the Old City with lots of shops, restaurants and transportation options. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Love the roof bar with views of the castle. Food and drinks are excellent. The rooms are comfortable with firm beds. It’s also nice to have the outdoor balcony. It’s an older hotel but kept up nicely. "

"The hotel was perfect in getting downtown and the front desk was great in answering all questions we had. We would definitely stay again. The subway and train station was only a 3 minute walk from the hotel so if you didn’t want to use the free shuttle to downtown you could quickly take those modes of transportation "
