Our only criticism is that we we’re originally told the restaurant would be open the first night we were there and it wasn’t. Instead we got a “pizza party” this was fine except the cost was not presented to us prior. The pool was also closed early due to a wedding. "Apartment was very large with a fantastic outdoor dining area. Pool area was beautiful with incredible views, just needed a bit of a repaint. Owners were lovely and kind with a gorgeous dog that our children loved playing with. Great location and Pistoia is a lovely town "

"The home was cozy and very authentic feeling. As the home is located up the hillside, watching the sunrise and the mist dissipate over the course of the morning was picturesque. The property and surrounding area is well kept with greenery and fruit and olive trees growing everywhere. Our stay was tranquil and peaceful, and felt very authentic and uniquely Italian!"

"Podere Castallare is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately we did not have a relaxing stay. Music was played at full volume directly into our bedroom from the bar from around 4pm - 11pm every day. It was so loud we could not spend time in our room. The air conditioner was broken and not fixed. We were treated rudley at dinner by the manager, which added to the tension in the atmosphere."
