B&B in Campeche

"The Mayan style of cabins added atmosphere. The grounds were well maintained with greenery and flowers. The pool was clean and the grounds provided a comfortable place to relax or have a snack. The restaurant's food was the best we had in the Yucatan. Our waiters were attentive and efficient. Our room was comfortable although the toilet button sometimes got stuck, so we had to be mindful of not having the toilet run. The owners was wonderful and offered suggestions and recommendations. "Comfortable large units with two double beds. Great breakfast included but dinner was simple with few choices. Limited restaurants in the town. Communication was limited--no map of area and no receipt for cash payment. Walked on short trail that had no signage or map and ran into what looked like an old Mayan stone house."

"The stay at Casa de Zari was really good. We loved our hosts and we loved the concept and the stay at the house. The owners are very hospitable, friendly and well educated. Would definitely come back when time permits. "
