"Our second time visiting and we have rebooked for a 3rd Nicole was amazing despite some issues with VRBO and the washing machine she was in constant communication. It was great to add linen to our booking this year. The appartment is a good size we are 2 families equalling 10 people. Ski in/ out was still possible even in April Good sized rooms with plenty of views of the slops outside. Nicole added items to the kitchen from our last stay which made things even easier."

"Fantastic stay here. So easy to get to the slopes particularly the ESF ski school. Flat is well equipped and beds comfy. The wifi isn’t reliable (but you’re there for the skiing!) and there is some noise from other flats so bring ear plugs if you sleep lightly. Jerome is a great host, responding to questions promptly. Overall would wholeheartedly recommend."

"** Relaxing ** Staff very helpful ** excellent facilities ** simple exit to ski area We used the Spa for relaxing massage. Leah was such a professional host and I felt great after her massage. I will be returning to this hotel for sure. 5* hotel and gave a 5* service. One area that could be better was the menu in the main restaurant. I suggest offering some classic dishes for dinner. Also a good idea to have salt and pepper on the tables instead of having to keep asking for them. This wouldn't stop me returning. Beautiful hotel and staff. "

"I was really pleased with our choice of Le Chamois D’Or. It is ideally located near the bottom of the magic carpet and Pioneers chair lift and really is ski in/out. The room was spacious and extremely well equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen. We even had a balcony overlooking the piste. The room did not have a hairdryer so bring one (like we did) if you need that. Also, the reception staff were so friendly and helpful. The only negatives were the noise at night, lots of drunk teenagers coming down the ski slope at all hours shouting and screaming. The resort really needs to get on top of this, there is a big late night drinking culture. It’s great to have fun, but not at the cost of others who are trying to sleep. They need to fine people or bars who are disrespectful of others. The lobby and locker room is chaotic on change over day - tons of people hanging around, some sleeping on the floor, waiting for their transport. I don’t think the 10am check out helps with this! Finally, the ski locker room is small and cramped and pretty awful in the morning. There are no boot heaters or any hooks or shelves to hang boots or helmets etc. This means your skis drip water into your boots if you are not careful! Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would come again. "
