"We were 2 families staying. The property is fantastic. It is very picturesque. We had 2 2-bdrm units which were very new. The facilities and the layout of the whole resort is very nice and we had a memorable stay. The staff is nice too. However, the staff at checkin is well below average and don’t care about customer service. They were not able to accommodate even very simple customer requests like getting the rooms 2 hour in advance even after explaining that there was a surprise proposal party happening and we needed atleast one room and we would have paid for that extra time. We had called way in advance meaning a few days and a couple of times reminded again during the week of check in. That left a big if a sour taste but if you don’t have any special requests this is amazing property to spend your vacation."

"Initially I had got a reservation at motel 6, since they had deals on rooms. Let’s just say, I’m glad I cancelled my reservation and swapped over to Carlsbad by the sea hotel! The beds were comfortable, everything was clean and for the most part it was very quiet. To say the least, we had a good experience. "

"Overall, what made my experience here a delight, was the service at the front desk. I forgot their names, which is a shame, but if you see a beautiful woman with jet black hair and bangs, you’re already taken care of and you can now relax. As well as, the tall young gentleman with glasses, he has exceptional customer service. I have stayed in many nice hotels and what I remember most is how I was treated at each one. I’ll be staying here again."

"Beautiful location and views, friendly staff. Pool is freezing and not heated. No food or water or vending machines. Watch out for raccoons on the property at night. Room was cold, however there was a nice fireplace. We will be back again "

"1 night is not enough. Not sure if it’s because it’s the Christmas season but our stay was magical! Check in experience was fantastic. Front desk was thorough in what the resort fee includes and they even provided a refreshing spiked Arnold Palmer. The resort is quiet but vibrant. Our king size mattress was so comfortable. We originally booked a night but extended our stay as we had an amazing time and didn’t want to leave. We’ve already discussed making this our vacation spot anytime we need a quick getaway. "

"It was a very pleasant stay. Lots of different view points, the ocean is very close and the hotel provides great beach chairs and towels. Friendly and professional staff and the rooms were clean and set up very nice. We will be back! "
