Nice mid century decor, cozy cabin nestled among trees in a quiet neighborhood with Tule River nearby. Great location - easy access to hiking trails with magnificent sequoia trees.

Comfy getaway
The property location was great, my wife and I really loved the view. The interior was cozy for us but if we had brought along more people it would've felt a little cramped. The kitchen had all the necessitates, just make sure to bring anything extra. Heating and a/c worked great, just give it a few minutes to really get going. Only minor complaints would be the outdoor staircase leading down to the front door had alot of leaves and loose dirt so I did slip a handful of times while loading/unloading luggage. Also, we really wanted to use the outdoor grill but when I opened it up, there was a big mouse inside. I tried to get a photo but it ran off before I could get my phone. We understand the location and wildlife so it wasn't a huge deal to us but it did put us off to using the grill during our stay.

Great, scenic A-Frame far off the grid
Beautiful cabin, easy check-in and check-out, communication was easy, and nestled in a small residential neighborhood an hour up the mountain. The cabin interiors were cute, clean and easy to use. Was a great place to look out at the mountains and rest after a long day of hiking. The two things to note is that this is a very rural area; no cell service and the power went out for one of the two days we stayed here, which meant no way to communicate with anyone, even the hosts, without a 40 minute drive down the mountain. Not a huge deal breaker for us, but if you are thinking of working remotely or the prospect of truly being in the mountains with no grocery or way to communicate scares you, this probably isn't for you! Also to note is that this cabin is surrounded pretty closely by other houses. Not a big deal for us, but if you are looking for a truly solitary cabin, this isn't that either. But overall, great stay, great cabin and a great home base to explore the Sequoias!

Enchanting
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a quiet getaway. Cabin is wonderful and cozy, the perfect size for the two of us. The hosts are very accommodating and helpful. There was question about road access given the recent rains, and they were very proactive with information. Definitely a fantastic place to stay with some great hosts.

Cozy cabin
Felt like home away from home. Hans was so helpful with all the information we needed. It’s gorgeous in winter with the snow and even when it’s raining outside, it’s nice and cozy hang out space with the family. I’ll be coming back in Springtime!

Beautiful A-Frame!
The home is a beautiful space near the giant sequoias. The hosts were communicative. The Wifi worked well. The house seems to be largely untouched since the 1970s ,so it is a bit of a time capsule and could benefit from some updating, but I enjoy the mid-century charm/quirkiness that come with A-frames.

Great cabin! Location was tricky, the directions did not work. No trash service so you have to take your trash to the location & they have very limited hours so that makes it tricky.

Cute and Convenient
The A-Frame cabin had everything we needed: plenty of linens, TV, deck, and BBQ. It was also nearby a number of excellent spots, like the Camp Nelson and Camp Coffee swimming holes, the beautiful Stagg Tree hike and many others. Deer were frequent visitors! AC and heat worked fine. It had a nice vintage quality to it. Very well thought out property.

Lovely Cabin
I've always wanted to stay in an A-Frame and this did not disappoint! Waking up to light filled windows surrounded by trees was so restorative. The mattresses are very comfortable and they have lots of cozy blankets. We loved eating outside on the porch as well. The cabin is also close to the Trail of 100 Giants, and it was really incredible and not crowded. We came in late so didn't stop at a bigger grocery store before going on the mountain but we were able to get enough of what we needed at the two small general stores. (Though I easily bought them out of fresh fruit). The restaurant up the road, Pierpoint, was really great as well. We didn't do as much hiking as we had planned on because so many of the trails have fire damage but it actually ended up leading us to having such a relaxing weekend and my boyfriend and I sometimes end up doing so much hiking and driving to hikes we don't feel rested so it was a nice change of pace and we enjoyed taking it easy in the quiet of the woods. While seeing so many burnt trees is sad, the green that has come back, nature healing herself, is really beautiful to see. Wish we could've stayed longer than a long weekend!

Lovely A-Frame Cabin
My dog and I loved our short stay at this adorable A-frame cabin! The cabin was tastefully decorated with a vintage flare, in a fantastic location, with comfortable beds and all the basic amenities including some nice extras like WiFi and streaming services. My only complaint was that it needed a good deep clean, I tried to turned on the heater at one point but the dust/cobwebs/smell was too much for me.

Perfect little mountain getaway to unwind with friends. The forest is stunning, the river was beautiful, the locals were super friendly and accomodating. Just so sad to see the devastation from recent wildfires.

Cutest, coziest little home away from home
This little cabin was nestled in a quiet little neighborhood with a great view of the snow capped mountains. It was close to all the hot spots and was nearby general stores. Tastefully decorated with vintage and modern flare. The fireplace was the centerpiece of the cabin and made the place look even cozier. The cabin had Wi-Fi, roku service and even an Amazon dot to play your favorite tunes while you sit and put together a puzzle or play games. The outside deck was a great place to sit for a nice little lunch/dinner or just enjoy the mountain air. Was very pleased with the property. Will try to book again for the next mountain getaway. Highly recommend!

Cute AFrame in the Mountains
My friend and I had a great time here! The deer outside were charming, it was an easy walk to trails and the local store, and the cabin was comfy. The coffeemaker, great shower, and all the nice outdoor seating were especially appreciated. Definitely had a 70s vibe.
