"The owner lives in the 1st floor of this large villa, whilst the groundfloor is entirely for guests. We didn't see much of owner, just at check-in and occasionally as he passed through the garden. "The highlight of this trip was Lluis, the property owner. From the time I reserved it until he met us on arrival, he was super responsive and helpful. A true treat. Gave us some Catalonia history and kept us laughing. The house itself was perfect for a large group. Five bedroom with four showers - kind of unheard of in Europe. Great patio and view from it. "This is beautiful house which is easily accesible by car from Girona and Barcelona. The location is beautiful and really spacious for a big group. The kitchen is really well equiped. The livjng room is very cosy with a real fire. Alexandre was very accommodating and available easily and quickly when we had difficulties with the water. Given small paper bag of items as a 'welcome' such as 2 tiny toilet tolls, finger sized washing up liquid, and 1 small dish towel for 2 kitchens. Clearly, you're supposed to bring these things with you. Never found this in any other property and not a good start. On arrival, several locks didn't work and the shower was blocked.
