"We were the first guests to stay at this beautiful home. It is out in the country, and has wonderful views of the countryside and old Rende. Our host, Rossana, met us at the house and showed us everything we needed to know. She speaks fluent Italian (which we do not) and English (which we do). That was really nice, as she was able to make restaurant reservations for us in old Rende our first night there! The house is really spectacular and modern with a beautiful kitchen. "The house was as expected. The check in was challenging due to the late arrival. Definitely recommend checking in during daylight. If you check in on Sunday, have Rosanna do some shopping for the necessity."

"Calabria is a province of hilltop villages and just outside San Vincenzo La Costa is this peaceful mountain refuge. The driveway is daunting at first but passable in any car and easy once you have done it. Host Claudia stocked the place with jam, bread and coffee and did everything to make me feel at home. There is great hiking from the house and even better a short drive away, and it easy to access all the wonders of Calabria in an hours drive in any direction. I cannot wait to come back."

"We met with the owners sister who spoke good english and was very nice, so our check in went smoothly. The apartment was beautiful, and the owner went well above standards by furnishing breakfast and coffee. The entire setting up on a hill overlooking the valley and surrounding hills was very beautiful. We highly recommend this property!"

"We have stayed in Hotel Europa in August. Considering August is a school holiday for most of the countries the hotel seemed quiet and relaxed as there were not that many people around. Kids absolutely loved pool area, it was actually lovely area to relax after sight seeing all day in the heat. Lovely and friendly staff. The only negative for us was 15th of August evening as the bar was closed due to dinner service so you couldn’t get a cold refreshment for kids at all, surely they could have been one person to attend the bar when needed as there were not that many guests staying, the bar didn’t reopen until after 11pm. Over all very nice stay and great location "
