"We are 5 seniors who completed high-school together in 1974. For the past 30 years plus we have had an annual reunion with VRBO. We have never had a more wonderful time than at the beautiful Gulfway House. It was very clean, so many amenities, spacious. It is the best of the best vacation rentals. We had so much fun in all the spaces especially the game room spaces. It’s a place for everyone and any occasion. Highly recommended!!"

"Low tide may leave your boat stranded in the boat lift. We didnt take that into consideration and had to fish from the bank our first day. "

"This is not our first time to stay at this location. We were here almost a year ago. This . We were pleased at the comfort level and convenient location. We stayed in a kitchenette suite which supplied substantial sized appliances, which felt up-to-date and well maintained. Overall, the room had a very comfortable decor and layout. The hotel feels very kept up and as we were leaving, the cleaning staff was everywhere doing what seem to be a very diligent job at keeping up cleanliness and sanitizing areas that were well traffic. We will definitely be back again. "

"Nice property located on a channel with beautiful views of the LA coast. Great fishing, quiet community, perfect relaxing getaway for a family. Property was newer, well maintained, clean, and great location. No complaints at all other than not knowing it has a shared dock with the house next door until arrival. It worked out for us though bc we only had to share one evening with a nice quiet couple but could see being an issue if had to share with a bigger family. Besides that, will definitely be booking again in the future."

"Thank you so much for sharing your fishing cabin with our family. It was so nostalgic like being back on the bayou of our childhood. We really enjoyed fishing and crabbing off the awesome pier. Unfortunately, the weather was uncooperative for boating, but we didn't mind. My favorite time was prepping dinner while watching perfect sunsets on the back porch. We will definitely be booking again soon for summer!"

"Wonderful little cottage right on the Gulf. Was in a quiet area. The house was well equipped with everything you need. Lots of windows overlooking the water and a very nice porch to sit on and listen to the waves and watch the sunset! Nice and clean and updated and lots of room. Just be sure to stop for groceries on your way as it's a little ways to the grocery store or restaurant. We stopped in Port Arthur for groceries on our way which was about 30 minutes away."
