The Cypress House

The main house has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one on each level of the home. In the guest house you will find a studio style apartment with its own bathroom along with a kitchenette.

There is a large deck along the entire waterfront side of the home as well as a private dock.

You Will Love This Rental

Was a beautiful week! Saw a fee gators, tins of dragin flies and turtles. Also a lot of bugs despite bug spray we all are bitten up but was so worth it.

We celebrated Christmas on the lake. It was awesome to be able to relax and take in the views. The home is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. We intend to stay here again in the future!!

Thank you for an incredible weekend! Amazing house and beautiful property. Was equipped with everything we needed and more! Had a blast celebrating my birthday. We fished, grilled out, kayaked, played games, did some star gazing, and enjoyed the privacy and scenery. Would highly recommend staying here.

We loved this cabin. It had tons of space for everything we did. The living room fit everyone in it for fellowship and the kitchen was great for all the cooking we did. The location of the cabin was great as well. It was very nice being right on the water and close to multiple landing.

Family Time
Rhoda provided a great stay for our family at Cypress Cabin. We were brought to the area for the DYB World Series in Orangeburg. The drive back and forth was easy and it was great coming home to a location that comfortably fit our large family. We were able to squeeze in and enjoy a little time fishing! Beautiful property and home. Even better host! Would highly recommend you stay here!

Had a wonderful time at a wonderful place.
Booked it for my boyfriends 40th bc he loves to fish. The house was beautiful inside and out and was right on the water. Property managers where very helpful and prompt if we had any questions. Will definitely be booking again in the very near future.

This place is exactly what it says. Beautiful place. We got to see an alligator in the lake but at a distance. If we come back to the area we would definitely try to get this place again. The hosts was wonderful.

Excellent Property
We all had a great time. House was perfect… kitchen well stocked… internet and tv all worked well. The porch was larger than I thought…. Wonderful to sit and watch the water. Faces east so the sunrise was so nice! Plenty of room. Totally fenced - so since this is a pet friendly property the dogs enjoyed running and playing “chuck it” and we did not have to have them on a leash. The extra little house was a benefit… king bed, full bath, small kitchen with full size refrigerator. Pretty roomy with its own small ac/heater. Very comfortable. So nice to have a dishwasher! Plenty of dishes and silverware available. Great little fire pit… forgot to bring a lighter… if you rent this place… make sure to put in matches/lighter. We brought wood. It is near the water— very nice! The weather was cool… only used the available kayaks once. There are fishing poles available for guest use in the shed. There is a charcoal grill available. Worked well! Bring charcoal. There are three wide steps to get into the main house and two steps up to the little house…. Lots of steps down from the porch but there is also a concrete walkway — if you have anyone with mobility issues. No ramp to the house… but with a walker… very doable. The owners have thought of many little things to make your stay enjoyable! Would definitely rent this property again. Had a lovely time!!
