"Saw some recent negative reviews, but we had a very different experience. The guy at the desk was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. Ours was just a 1-night stay, and we have no complaints. Yes, we would stay here again."

"Spacious nice cabin. Exactly as listed. Clean, everything worked and we had everything we needed. There were 12 of us, it rained all weekend and we had plenty of room to spread out or be together, as we wished. My only criticism would be that the screens need to be replaced and/or repaired. In really hot weather that we just had, it’s important to be able to open windows. Half or more of the screens were missing or had holes so could only use half of the windows to move air. Thank god it wasn’t in the high 90’s like the 3 days prior. I highly recommend this property."

"The hotel is nice but expensive compared to other stays on our trip. There was nothing special about this hotel other than it met our needs for the night. I understand now why the parking lot is empty. Rates are high even for this area. "

"We were in the area for a memorial service. It was comforting to have pleasant and smiling, courteous people at the Pointe. The room was clean and very cozy. We would go there again easily if we were in the area. The pool and hot tub were perfect. Thank you, all."
