"This is a nice hotel located a short walk from the Alewife T and an easy train ride to Harvard, Cambridge and MIT. It is in the midst of a new biotech office park. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. I did not try the food at the hotel. Good place if you want a bit of a quiet zone outside the city center. Room was very clean and well appointed. Parking is 25 bucks a night. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay again if driving to Boston and unwilling to face center...

"Everything is brand new and shining. The room is small but functional. The bathroom is sizable. Very comfy queen bed. Big tv. Very quiet (I asked for a room on the back side). The lobby decor is kind of cool. The location is excellent, across the street from the T stop."

"Very warm and helpful staff. Convenient to MIT. Comfortable, spacious, charming, quiet room. Location is a bit barren/corporate. Did not appreciate paying a $25 "resort fee" when they don't have a gym or pool on the premises."

"Was very good, except for the part where I got locked from the inside and couldn’t get out, but housekeeping guy came to my rescue and got the front desk dude and they WD-40d my way out, so I really appreciate them and their hard work."

"Our stay last President’s Day weekend at Ginkgo House exceeded beyond our expectations. It is very clean, organized and quiet place to relax and enjoy. A big plus is that it is walkable to all the areas we need to go to and restaurants are nearby. Nancy was one of the best staff and she made us feel so comfortable. We felt like we are so much closer to home because of her hospitality, we will definitely return."
