We loved our stay at this gorgeous hotel. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and the staff was fabulous. The lobby was inviting and warm. There were treats, tea and coffee available all the time. We will definately visit here again and would recommend this hotel highly.

Great stay. Happy Hour was a nice touch - had a couple of drinks and met some great people (and dogs!) Room was very spacious, very good bed. Old building charm - could use just a bit of upgrading. Overall a wonderful time. We'll be back.

We stayed here before a trip to Hearst Castle. Perfect location, central in quaint village. Lovely coastal walks nearby. Spacious room (could have used some comfy chairs and a rug in the room, though). Would definitely recommend.

Great location and very cool historic property. I stayed in the addition from the 1970’s which didn’t have a lot of charm but it was a very big suite. Cambria is a lovely little town on the coast near so many amazing things to do. Happy hour is a nice touch by this property… outdated and run down, old TV’s but very unique and fun drip coffee maker in the room.

We had a great, spacious suite at a reasonable price. Great location, wonderful staff: Christian was very helpful, let us check in early and is also a wonderful mixologist: there is happy hour from 5 to 7 PM and they offer up to 2 delicious cocktails per person! Also many other amenities, we will be back for sure.

I recently stayed at the The Rigdon House Hotel, and it was a delightful experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. It’s an old establishment and may need some ventilation. But I would definitely come back. Cute, cozy and staff is awesome and knows the town. Cutely designed - just wished I could open a window or two, but we just opened the door a bit.

Very nice hotel but becoming a bit outdated
We have family in Cambria and stay at the Rigdon House 80% of the time when visiting. Its a quaint B&B type hotel, quietly tucked in a corner off main street, so its within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. We've stayed there 6x the past 2+ years and love it. The staff is friendly and attentive. That said, the rooms are becoming a little outdated and in need of an upgrade. The beds are a little too soft and the furniture is wearing out and becoming uncomfortable. Our shower barely had enough water pressure to completely rinse after soap and shampoo. And one of our bathroom sinks was clogged and drained slowly. Mind you, it didn't ruin our stay (the room was clean and attended to daily) but its a bit like your own home that hasn't been painted or upgraded the past 20-years. Sooner or later, everything wears out and you need to invest to upgrade. We still recommend staying there as the rates are very competitive compared to other options close by.
