"This is a rural restored farm house. We used it as a base for a day trip (3.5 hrs) to Andorra while being able to make it back to Paris in a day. Visited some nearby wineries as well! Breakfast was good. Room and bath clean with nice hot shower. Only issue was lack of ventilation in room. No ac so had to open windows ( without screens) until attacked by mosquitos!"

"The rooms are extremely comfortable and the hosts were very helpful and very accommodating. They provide dinner on request and the food was superb. Breakfast also excellent. We also took advantage of the opportunity to have a massage. All in all an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Highly recommended."

"Sarah est une hôte attentive. La chambre ( sous les toits) est tres grande et joliment aménagée. Elle est adaptee vraiment que pour dormir ( car elle ne dispose que de 2 toutes petites fenêtres en s accroupissant pour voir dehors) Il vaut mieux prevoir des boules Quies car le chauffage est une clim reversible et donc bruyant ( dommage que le seche serviette ne fonctionne pas) Le petit dejeuner est varié et avec des produits de qualité L environnement est bucolique "

"What an amazing stay. Christope and Patrick were so warm and kind. Hugo the dog is absolutely beautiful and also a wonderful host - The best boi ever. They have renovated the château beautifully. Everything is perfection - they have wonderful taste. They have thought of so many little touches to make your stay absolutely wonderful. The food there is top notch, and great drinks list that is well priced. I can not wait to go back. Do yourself a favour and book it. "

"Très bon accueil mais mauvais entretien du matériel, on ne voyait rien a travers les vitres de la tente , il y avait des cadavres d'insectes partout, de grosses aureoles sur le canapé et des poils dans le lit , nous avions réservés deux jours mais avons dû partir au bout de 4h car notre fils a fait une crise d'asthme dû a la poussière. "Séjour très agréable, dans un ancien presbytère entouré de verdure. Accueil chaleureux et sympathique. Chambre spacieuse et très calme, literie confortable. Et surtout un petit déjeuner extraordinaire, copieux et délicieux, confitures, yaourts et pâtisseries maison, assiette de charcuterie pour les amateurs de salé, fruits frais… De plus, on peut même visiter l’église attenante au presbytère, du XIII ème siècle et très bien conservée. "

"Beautiful homely hotel. Bedroom very quiet and clean. Tranquil and pretty surroundings with good places to walk. Owners very welcoming and friendly. Continental breakfast was nice and not rushed (which was great when we overslept). Good sized pool for swimming and decent sun loungers for relaxing. Great facilities to make your own dinner if you decide to stay in - Castres is circa 10-15 minute drive - with a small boutique to stock up on essentials like like wine and home produced honey! "We stayed here for four nights to explore Carcassonne and environment. Montolieu is a charming artsy village with lovely bookshops and little streets. The place we rented was the first floor of the house with the owners living downstairs. They were extremely friendly people and really going the extra mile to make your stay most comfortable. The amenities in and outside of the house are plentiful: bowling alley, pool ( not heated though), outside kitchen .... certainly recommend this place to...

Rural France at its delightful best

"Stunning property in rural France where we were greeted with a warm welcome by the host and shown to our room which was beautiful, spacious and very tastefully decorated. The property does allow dogs but only in certain rooms so do remember and advise them at the time of booking. Breakfast was laid on in the morning and again our host was very attentive and really helpful. Will most definitely be staying again we drive from the UK to the Costa Blanca."
