Villa de l'Ormeau is a peacefully located, light and airy property with comfortable inviting furnishings. It’s set on a good sized plot with a private garden allowing plenty of outdoor space for everyone to enjoy. There are a choice of outside seating areas offering sun and shade, and when the garden and pool are lit up of an evening it is a delightful place be. Set in a sleepy village, there are a few local restaurants a short drive away, while the beautiful town of Limoux is a 15 minute drive away. WiFi, pool heating and air conditioning/ heating are included in the bedrooms and living space.

Villa de l'Ormeau enjoys a countryside location 15 minutes’ drive from Limoux, a beautiful town on the river Aude with lovely restaurants and bars around its main square. It’s set in the heart of Cathar country in glorious nature, and in an environment known for its slightly cooler summers. The location makes an ideal starting base for many hikes and discoveries, both natural and cultural. From the famous medieval fortified city of Carcassonne, 30 minutes’ drive away and the well-known Canal du Midi, there’s plenty to see. Day excursions could include trips to the endless miles of golden sandy beaches or wandering around beautiful cities such as Toulouse, known as La Ville Rose, Narbonne, and Mirepoix. All are perfect examples of traditional French towns full of history, amazing architecture, weekly markets and fantastic bars and restaurants.
