"Really nice stay really convenient location for the station and Bordeaux city centre just a tram journey. Room was spacious and clean, shower was ok but wasn’t that powerful, only one iron so if you wanted it you had to hope no one else was using it. Would highly recommend due to location and the quietness of the place."

"Chambre et endroit très propre et calme. Le parquet craque un peu au risque de réveiller les voisins de palier mais c'est ce qui fait le charme de cet endroit. Je pense qu'il faut être relativement peu bruyant pour passer un bon séjour. Endroit idéal pour un séjour au calme, le propriétaire est très disponible et arrangeant. "

"The castle is in a beautiful spot. Close to the vineyards and Saint-Emilion. We were in France for 12 days and this was our favorite part. The Patio room is absolutely beautiful! "

"Our hosts were very sweet and spoke excellent English, making it a fluid check in process. Instructions were provided ahead of time explaining how to access the property. They breakfast was lovely and the property is pretty close to a tram station that can take you into the Coty. "

"Masai Mara suite was spacious and well appointed. Double sink and large shower. Staff was helpful. Make sure you get the entry code to get in before you arrive. They send it to you by email the morning you are to arrive. There is no 24 hr. reception like a hotel. Good location a short walk to shops and cafes. "

"After a long week of travel throughout France, this was the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate. It’s in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes walk from a tram line and wonderful restaurants. "We didn’t stay at the property although we had booked it. It was difficult to find and the signage once we did arrive to the correct place was not clear. On. Pointing this out to the owner he took great offence rather than accepting a little feedback. He accused us of not arriving on time, when no time had been agreed, yet we were there at 4:30pm when arrivals were from 3pm. "Considering it is a place out in the country, with no stores or cafes nearby. I believe there should be some coffee/tea and especially water in the rooms. It was a very warm few days (over 90 degrees F/30 degrees C) and there was no water provided, and there were no glasses in the bathroom. The internet does not work well and I had to teach an online class which could not happen. Do not expect to connect to the internet. "

"Great location. Friendly staff. No aircon, so not ideal during warm summers! We were also given an accessible family room, which was less than ideal. Toilet is very basic. No shower enclosure, just a flimsy curtain that separates the toilet seat from the shower area."

"A great location, fun decor, friendly staff and comfortable beds and nicely designed rooms! This is a hotel that Americans might appreciate because of the services, amenities and larger room sizes. "We walked to the hotel from the train station. We went out the main doors of the train station. We could have made it much easier on ourselves if we went to the lower level and crossed under the tracks. Otherwise, the hotel was great. Not too expensive, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed."
