"Super nice owner. He arranged a ride for me during a day's long blackout and I knew it wasn't easy to do. The room is very clean. I feel perfectly safe. The bathroom is huge and amazing. The pool area with the patio is a really unheard of treat in Matanzas! "

"The staff was very courteous and helpful and helped to arrange a taxi pickup for me when my flight was delayed and arrived very late at night. The breakfast was excellent and the room was very clean and very well decorated. "

"Matanzas is a beautiful city often overlooked by turists. The Hotel Louvre sits in the heart of Matanzas overlooking the Parque Libertad and has just recently been fully renovated. The building is certainly an old colonial style with modern finishes. The staff are extremely helpful and dedicated to service. The bar makes excellent drinks and the restaurant is solid as well. The rooms are spacious and blend modernity with antiques. I will say that my room was spotless. "

"There were holes in my room and bugs, I asked for another room and they said it was the best they had. The staff was nice but the place is not in any conditions to have customers the whole building is falling apart. It was hard to find a taxi due to the place being distant from the city."

"This hotel treated me badly, since the conditions are terrible, they charged me for the expensive services, we only went to sleep, the bathroom did not discharge, the water for cold baths not hot, mosquitoes, genes and spiders inside the room and little security on the balcony doors and around a lot of dust and dirt were in other buildings"
