Welcome to The Daily Studio — a stylish & peaceful space in the heart of Camarillo! This studio is the namesake & former family residence of six-term Mayor and designated Mayor Emeritus, Stanley Daily. The design honors Camarillo's original City Council Chambers where the Mayor gave so much. Thoughtfully appointed to give you a comfortable stay while visiting family or on business. Amenities include fast internet, a kitchenette for light cooking, breakfast items, toiletry essentials, & laundry!

Please do not book the space or follow-through on a booking if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

Our Normal Cleaning Procedure + COVID-19 Safety Practices include:

1. Washing our hands and wearing disposable sanitary gloves or rubber cleaning gloves
2. Our cleaning solutions are at least 70% alcohol
3. Cleaning only with disposable wipes. Using cotton or microfibre otherwise.
4. Using a color safe sanitizing spray to sanitize soft surfaces such as furniture, edges of curtains and decorative pillows
5. Disinfecting all light switches, knobs, & handles
6. Disinfecting the windows, disposal containers, counters, & surfaces
7. Washing all dishes/utensils
8. Disinfecting all appliances
9. Disinfecting remotes, blow dryers, cords, & any other surface or items in the space that are high-touch.

Entire space recently updated!
This studio is unique, clean, and equipped to meet all your needs for a relaxing stay. Take a load off in this extremely comfy Queen-sized murphy bed (medium firmness). Storage for your items is no problem using the clothes rack with hangers and shelving. We've included an iron and iron board as well. The kitchenette is available for light cooking/meal prep with a self-contained sink that allows for light rinsing & dish washing. In the bathroom, we have everything stocked to ensure you're comfortable.

Breakfast Food · Oatmeal, Milk, and Butter are stored in the kitchenette for a pleasant morning. The Coffee & Tea Station will allow you to make a yummy brew whenever you'd like too!

Entertainment · Fast Internet and WiFi is available. There is an AppleTV device connected so you can screen share/mirror any media from your device. Also, feel free to utilize the Netflix or Hulu accounts for any binges you may be itching to get back to. Books are available for your reading pleasure... as well as individual postcards to write about your travels & send out while here :-)

Parking · You will have parking in front of the property on the street and more on the small cul de sac we're at the corner of. OR upon request, we can open a driveway spot for you.

Entry · You will be sent a code on the morning of your stay with a code to the smart lock.

As your host (& neighbor here), I highly value the experience you have while staying at the studio. I'm quick to respond to all communications through the AirBnB app. If I'm available & requested, I can welcome guests in-person for their check-in. Otherwise, it is self check-in for your convenience and I'm sure we'll see each other at some point :-)

The Daily Studio is located in Central Camarillo. Our home has one of the best locations in this area because we're solidly tucked in and away from busy roads, but we also have a pedestrian bridge right next to us that makes for a quick connection to two shopping plazas on Arneill Road - Central Plaza and Village Square.

With sidewalks and tree lined streets, this is one of the best places to take a stroll!

You are within a 5 minute drive of The Camarillo Village Square where you can find Sprouts, Grocery Outlet, Rite Aid, Orange Theory, Planet Fitness, PizzaMan Dan's, Relm Wine & Beer Bistro, Ric's Restaurant & Sports Lounge, Ruby's Mexican Restaurant, Mika Sushi, along with various Salons & Spas. There is also local favorite (ie. "world-famous") Rolling Pin Donuts nearby!

If you're feeling adventurous for a stroll, I recommend traversing any road that leads upward into the hills of The Camarillo Heights. You will get a great workout and the farmland views out to the Pacific Ocean from "the top of the world" are incredible.

Need-to-Knows · The kitchenette offers limited water for washing (~4 gallons). It is a self-contained plumbing system, meaning there is a water supply tank in the cabinet with a pump to the sink faucet which then drains to a waste tank on the side.

The water will just be room temperature and you will hear the pump when turning the faucet on. If you've used an RV or trailer sink before, then it's essentially the same experience here.

The glass drinking water dispenser has filtered water (~2.5 gallons). It is dispensed at room temperature as well, but we have an ice cube tray in the mini fridge freezer compartment to help chill your drink.

**For longer stays, we can arrange a time for all the tanks to be freshened up & swapped out.
