"Great location at base of mountains, right by entrance to cablecar to mountain top. Great for walkers . Restaurant menu possibly a little limited for British visitors but good snack options in bar area. Breakfast good- especially if you like wine with your croissants!"

"Great stop in the Pico’s de Europa. Excellent hosts and would recommend as they went above and beyond what would be expected. "

"A beautiful country house run by a family with just 8 rooms just 2.5 km away from Potes. A good choice for one who prefers to stay a little bit away from the city centre. We chose this place because we drive and the very good price. It turned out to be a real gem as the owner and son went out of their way to give us very good recommendations for nature walks, etc. We also took an evening walk to Potes, which was 30 minutes each way. The house also has a large garden with various fruit trees...

"We liked everything. The property is a house in the middle of Espinama where you obviously feel the Picos de Europa vibe. Room was comfortable and clean. The people attending the place super friendly. Will love to stay there a little more"

"Clean and spacious room with a spotless en suite. Great location in the village and convenient for surrounding hikes. Our only real issue was the lack of breakfast on the second morning; one was available after our first night, but that was probably only because a large group had booked breakfast and we could help ourselves at the buffet (we did pay for it! 😂). Restaurant was closed both nights, so just be aware that even in mid September your dinner options might be slim, as several of the...

"We did not stay there because the information in the site was that this place is 6.1 miles from posada de valdeon which is misleading and since no one in the hotel could communicate with us in English when we called. Therefore we told the hotel that we want to cancelour stay and wish to obtain refund if we were charged. We are hoping that hotel. Com will take a good care of this issue. Dina"

"Absolutely stunning mountains! And a beautiful rustic converted farm complex, set with mountain views all around, lambs frolicing in the nearby field, wonderful breakfasts and dinners available, and friendly staff available to chat to you in Spanish, English or French and give advice about the most magical places to visit. We felt so welcome and had a completely magical time! Would highly recommend. Especially a trip to Bulnes, mountain village reachable by funicular, and Covadonga Cathedral, cave and waters. Beautiful lakes, mountains and views everywhere you look, and fresh clean air. For those who aren't good in hot sun, a January visit is very comfortable cool gentle winter temperatures, and I imagine it would be wonderful for sun lovers in the the Spring/Summer. We felt greatly cared about and had a truly magical time - on top of the world! Thank you so much. "
