"The cottage was easy to find in a quiet village between the coast and the Picos de Europa. It's well laid out and been thoughtfully modernised. We ate out in the evenings but I think cooking a big meal there would be a challenge in the small kitchen area. The bed was large, comfortable and quiet and the en suite was small but perfectly functional. Jose the owner was very friendly and helpful. The local area is spectacular, the snow covered Picos making a superb backdrop to the golden sandy...

"The property is beautifully clean and very well presented, about 8 miles from busy Cangas De Onis in a very rural, small village in the hills. Perfect for those, like us, wanting to be away from it all and perfect for exploring the spectacular Picos de Europa. Most of the time the tiny village of Llano de Con is very peaceful, only being disturbed by cowbells or the barking of dogs and there is a local bar with shop attached so basic provisions are easily acquired. "Nous avons passé deux nuits aux Pics Europa. Tranquillité et calme dans cette petite résidence dans un hameau un peu perdu. Superbe vue et terrasse très agréable. Hôte sympathique. Parfait. Nous n’avons pas pu aller aux lacs de Cadavonga car les bus étaient complets pour la journée."

There were some negatives: a lot of the crockery/cutlery needed re-washing when we arrived, the master bed wasn’t very comfortable and there is no soundproofing in the house whatsoever! But it was in a great location and was perfectly adequate and enjoyable for a week’s stay."

"Its a typical asturian stone house. The main atraction for us was the location , a hamlet with no more than 10 houses surrounded by mountains all overooked by the Pico Peñamallera . The house is spotless clean with a great fireplace and all the amenities you need."
