The Olivo was originally a hunting house, now turned into the perfect 2-bedroom country holiday home!
It has a romantic double bedroom with view over the estate and the 400 years old Villa Unis. The second smaller bedroom has two single beds, and looking over gardens and the village.
Children beds can be added upon request.
Big wooden dining table for 6, a kitchen and bathroom, both fully equipped. (Meaning washing machine, dishwasher, oven, fridge, cutlery and crockery etc).
As you step outside the door you have a big private garden, where you can have your breakfast under the olive trees, sunbath or even plan some football on the grass.
The estate has a big outdoor pool as well (shared amongst the guests), where you can relax as much as you please - but since the distance to the beach is so little, our guests often drive down and spend the nicest days on the sandy seaside.
About the surroundings
Once you exit the gate you just need to walk down the road about 200 meters to arrive to the Antico Frantoio, which is a nice and very local restaurant/bar/grocery shop. It serves good coffee and great homemade tordelli, which is a local pasta specialty.
Nocchi itself is a sweet little village in a valley, with small rivers around - but only 12 mins drive from the beach towns Viareggio/Lido di Camaiore or Forte dei Marmi.
We believe that Versilia (Pisa-Lucca-Viareggio) is really the best part of Tuscany - here everything is near, and there is a lot to see! The sea, the mountains, medieval towns or posh promenade... Great restaurants and very friendly people! And Florence is just 60 mins away!
If you are interested, we have a lot of ideas on how to make the most out of your time!
Other useful information
The Olivo can be rented for minimum periods of 1 week. If you are thinking about long-term rentals (more than two weeks), please contact us to discuss possible discount.
In the same garden another cottage for 4 is available separately but also together with the Olivo.
We recommend you plan your holiday on wheels - public transport in Versilia is available but it would limit your flexibility greatly. Car, bikes or scooters are best to think of.
