Antonio was incredibly generous and kind, not only did he pick us up from the train station upon arrival, but he also drove us to the airport to get a rental car when our original plan fell through. "Das Haus hat alles was man braucht und bei Problemen schafft der Vermieter sofort Abhilfe. Außerdem stand er uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite bei Fragen nach Ausflugszielen, Stränden und Restaurants waren viele gute Tipps dabei, die wir sehr genossen haben. Leider ist die Saison vor Ort spätestens Mitte September vorbei, weshalb das ein oder andere Restaurant und einige Strandbäder schon Anfang September geschlossen hatten."

"This little farm house was a perfect base for us to explore the area. The weather was hot (late August) but the ability to open all the windows and the fans provided kept the temperature reasonable. We would have stayed longer if we could and will stay again if we can."

"Calabria is a province of hilltop villages and just outside San Vincenzo La Costa is this peaceful mountain refuge. The driveway is daunting at first but passable in any car and easy once you have done it. Host Claudia stocked the place with jam, bread and coffee and did everything to make me feel at home. There is great hiking from the house and even better a short drive away, and it easy to access all the wonders of Calabria in an hours drive in any direction. I cannot wait to come back."

"Our experience in Belmonte was amazing. The house was charming and very clean. It had everting needed to cook. We loved it. The town is enchanting and the views from the terrace was like something you only see in the movies. It is very peaceful, perfect for reading and doing nothing. My husband did plenty of sketches of the views and our son was inspire and wrote many poems. We are already planning to return in the summer."

"For Gugliermo and I it was like a blanket or a shawl placed on us from our ancestors . We were in the present and past simultaneously. Gabriella and Gianfranco have taken on a Herculean task of reconstructing this charming hillside village home by home. Gianfranco and his brothers grew up there so there souls are one with the commune. The charm and authenticity of each casa is pure and perfect. The dinner Gabriella and Gianfranco made for us will be one we will always remember. Pure Calabrian....
