"Note: "Pet Friendly" only extends to dogs under 20 pounds. The park trails along the Potomac were its best feature. They start just a very short walk from the front door. The house worked out very well for us. It was sparsely furnished and some elements were slightly shabby, but it was fine as we were most interested in getting together. It was excellent value for the many bedrooms. Just don't expect a mansion. "

"Beautiful property and neighborhood, with lovely view of fields and pastures. House was lovely, clean, comfortable, had everything to make our stay comfortable. Hosts and owners were very hospitable and accommodating."

"This house is in a great spot, close to everything but with the charm of a quiet suburban neighborhood. The house is nice and everything was as advertised. The proximity to the metro makes it super convenient to take a trip over into DC. The host was super friendly and very responsive to all communication. "

"Was a last minute reservation and I was pleasantly surprised! Wonderful property - in residential area away from tourist areas and tourists. Also good in both bar and restaurant was excellent and in nice settings. Service excellent too. "

"Great DC location, staff were very responsive and friendly, Dogon restaurant dinner was amazing, a little disappointed there’s no hotel boutique like the other Salamander properties I’ve been to. "

Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill

"I like the quiet discreet atmosphere, polite staff, no crowds to check in or out. I like the minimalistic approach: qr code for information, express check out and filtered water in the lobby. I did not like the food choice and its quality in the small convenience store on the premise; the staff in this stor was not polite as well."
