"Kilkea castle grounds are absolutely beautiful and so very serene. It was a perfect last night to relax and decompress for the journey home. The staff was wonderful and very friendly and helpful. The room was extremely comfortable."

"This is a golfer’s paradise. My golfer uncle from US would love this place. I am not a golfer but stayed at the lodges to attend a wedding in nearby Athy. The receptionists were lovely and extremely helpful. I should have taken their names. A special shoutout to the manager (again I didn’t take her name) of Hermione's Restaurant Friday evening 1st May and Saturday’s morning 2nd May for breakfast. She was very friendly, polite and professional. I would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful accommodation and delicious food. If you are a golfer, this will be a dream vacation. "We stayed here for 1 night as a stop over to Belfast. Room was comfortable, a little hot but they supplied us with a fan when we asked. Ate in the bar, food was beautiful and very reasonable. Grounds are lovely and well kept. It was recommended by a friend and we were delighted with our stay."
