"Beautiful property with lovely views with everything you could possibly need catered for. The swimming pool was always inviting and Sofia was always at hand when needed. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to get away from it all but still within a short drive from the lovely town of Ponte de Lima and also only half hour drive from the likes of Braga and 40 minutes from Porto which were all worth a visit."

"We had a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday here. Beautiful setting and the villa is described accurately. Hosts were helpful and always on hand to provide anything we needed such as extra towels or bedding. The pool is a good size for a family and the grounds are large so plenty of room to play or relax."

"Lovely spacious villa with plenty of room for 10-12 people, and lots of dining and sitting space inside, and outdoor space. It was very warm during our stay, and as the villa doesn't have air conditioning it did get warm inside. Some more fans would be useful, as opening windows does increase outside noise. "My stay at this place was great, very quiet place, big property with small vineyards and a great swimming pool. Mr Ernesto was great and flexible with the check in and out (5stars to that) Nice couple of rooms for a couple each, kitchen is full equipped but oven (has a wooden oven outside) The only thing that I can mention is a lack of a full indoor living room which the bit outside is great for it any time of the day if good weather... if not is also ok and you always can burn some wood/coal...

"We spent a wonderful 6 days at Casa Grande Carlota. Antonio was very helpful with any enquiries we had before our trip and we were greeted warmly on our arrival. The house is exactly as described - or even better. We were amazed at how well equipped it was. The pool is great and there are so many different areas to sit and relax both inside and outside. The covered barbecue area/outdoor kitchen is brilliant and we ate out there every night. There is a very good supermarket in Terras de Bouro....

"This is an excellent property in a beautiful setting. As well as the pool, the house is surrounded by a wonderful garden with orchard, vines, and shaded spots. The very welcoming owner lives next door and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and interesting - he gave us his own wine, vegetables from the garden and arranged for the local baker to deliver every day. "Quinta Trás o Rio is a large house, set in the hills outside the coastal town of Viia Praia de Âncora. It has six bedrooms, a swimming pool, large garden and ample parking. Its location in the hills ensures cooling breezes for a comfortable temperature in Summer. Porto airport is 50 minutes away. The house itself is stone built and rather rambling once inside. There are numerous stairs both inside and out. My ten year old grandson christened it : The House of Stairs. Families with toddlers...

"The wonderful house with very large and beautiful garden included all we needed. All bed rooms are vary spacious as are the entrance, kitchen and living. The large pool (depth up to 2,0m) is surrounded a sunny lawn with lounge chairs. We had all our meals on the veranda. The house in conveniently (by car) located to bakery, supermarket, nice cities, beach and other activities."

"This guy needs to communicate with guests better. I requested how to get in the day before, then twice the morning of my arrival. I didn't hear from him until 2:30 pm and check in was at 3. I was in Braga at that point and had to go wait in a cafe until I got his email. (It was raining) When I showed up at the place, a couple was outside trying to get in. Then later, after I returned around 8 pm, another couple was outside who couldn't get in. I let them in."

"Los funcionarios de recepción super atentos, el lugar moderno y muy confortable. En la sala de estar del lobby se ofrece servicio 24 hs de bebidas calientes ( café, te ) y jugos fríos , además de agua , todo totalmente gratuito. La calefacción en el lugar es estupenda. Que más decir, todo estupendo! "
