"Lovely bed and breakfast about a 10 minute drive from Villa del Casale. Piazza Armerina is a lovely town with many dining and shopping options. Luciano is a delight—kind, funny, available when needed but otherwise gave us our space which we appreciated. He went above and beyond in providing us with what we needed for a comfortable stay. Such a lovely property, and we loved his adorable cat! The breakfast is out of this world—he’ll make you as many cappuccinos as you can stomach! Will definitely be back. "This hotel building, carved into the stone, survived the 1693 earthquake and is over seven hundred years old. Josepi, on his second day at work, was an enormous help in parking my car, which was a midsize MG SUV. He went over and above what was expected. Breakfast was a joy with great staff, that would make you coffee exactly how I wanted it and kept it coming without having to ask. Sparkling wine awaited you in the cavern-like separate sitting area upon arrival after a stressful drive, before checking in. Linda and Eugenio gave us incredible service making reservations at restaurants for us and advice on visiting Modica, Scicli, and Ragusa. Linda phoned a restaurant for me when I thought that I had left my hat behind. The atmosphere of the hotel more than made up for the somewhat tight quarters of our room which could be accessed from the street, or by going up a spiral staircase cut int0 the stone behind the front desk. Service at it’s finest."

La posizione è al top, parcheggiata la macchina accanto al b&b, è semplicissimo raggiungere il centro storico. I proprietari ci hanno consigliato i posti più importanti da visitare e anche dove mangiare. Tornerò più in là a Caltagirone e non ho alcun dubbio dove alloggiare. "

"We loved this property. Located in the beautiful countryside of Pergusa, La Casa del Poeta is a great place to unwind after a day of site seeing. It is centrally located between Enna and Piazza del Romano and only an hour from Agrigento and the Valley of Temples. The host, Guiliana, was wonderful sharing information about the area and providing recommendations for food, sights and travel. The breakfast is included with lots of options to choose from. We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it. "

"What a lovely place to spend a leisurely afternoon and evening. Dinner was spectacular and so reasonably priced. We took a couple walks and sat outside on our lovely patio area. One warning though -- do NOT leave your shoes or any clothing outside. We had a pair of drying socks and shoes and a bra munched on (one shoe was actually taken away to be found completely demolished the following morning) by the cute but wily Sicilian foxes living onsite! They were pretty bold and we needed to make lots of noise to get them to move away from the "patio of treats." A small price to pay for a beautiful stay. "
