"My bf andIi stayed here for a few days and very much enjoyed it. The property was very easy to find. When we arrived, Bibiana greeted us and showed us around the house. She even gave us some of the eggs her chickens laid (unfortunately, we never got around to cooking them up ). Her house is a little ways away with a separate driveway. "The rooms at the Rainbow Lodge are undergoing a significant upgrade. As we arrived, they were just re-hanging the door to our bathroom. Charles, the manager, does a great job of managing the work, and we were very comfortable with the accommodations. Our room was freshly painted, with new linen on the bed and blackout curtains on the windows. It also looked like we had a new microwave and minifridge. "I’m obsessed with how cute and lovely this stay was, we really felt spoiled by Valerie! The house was well designed, spotless, and even had a fridge fully stocked with yogurt and almond milk and delicious granola. Valerie and her beau were absolutely lovely and it was a pleasure to meet them! Great location, walking distance into town. Can’t recommend this place enough! "

"This was in a really great location. Close to stores & the lake. The place was perfect inside but needed blinds in the living & dining areas. Pool was beautiful but so cold we couldn’t swim. Plus, pool was for tall people! We were never able to touch the bottom. A little scary at times.over all beautiful place! A dock access would have been great too!"

"Had a nice stay with my family (including 2 teen daughters and our dog). We originally booked a standard room with 2 queen beds. It was a bit cramped for so many of us and the beds were comfortable but noisy. Eric, the lodge innkeeper, kindly, upgraded us to an available suite the next day which was very comfortable and spacious. We had a lovely time for the remainder of our stay. Thank you!"
