Hyggee House is nestled in the most peaceful pocket of this village, in an Area of outstanding Natural Beauty.
The house is totally private in a spectacular setting overlooking a crystal clear lake - STUNNING inside and out is the only word to describe it.
Built and finished to an extremely high standard Hyggee House is the perfect place to come for a weekend of luxury, comfort and relaxation anytime of the year, in the heart of the Wiltshire Downs.
Hyggee house is an 'upside down house' with 3 of the bedrooms on the ground floor and the Master Bedroom on the Upper Floor along with the living areas.
The house can comfortably sleep 8 - 10 guest in spectacular bedrooms all of which have views of the Lake.
The Master Bedroom and one other bedroom have Superking beds, the other 2 bedrooms can be Superkings or Twins as required.
Master Bedroom and Bedroom 2 are both ensuite, bedrooms 3 & 4 share a bathroom.
The open plan kitchen, dining, living area with huge panoramic sliding doors that open up onto a large wrap around deck overlooking the Lake, with a perfect secluded corner for that all important morning coffee.
There is also a snug on the upper floor (with a large sofabed for additional guests), which leads out onto a smaller 'G&T terrace' for sundowners.
Off the kitchen is a dining / chill out deck (South Facing) over looking the private garden and wild flower meadow.
Also on the ground floor is a boot room, a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a double carport with EV charging point. Further parking is available outside on the graveled driveway for up to 3 more cars.
Externally, in addition to the terraces on the upper level is a large patio leading out from the bedrooms, overlooking the lake, a split level garden with two small grassed areas and a further circular patio with seating and charcoal BBQ. Beyond that is a large wild flower meadow with trees. At the bottom of the drive you can follow the track around and find a quite spot to sit by the stream and the weir. The sound of the running water is incredibly calming.
Please note that the Lake itself is NOT part of the property, is privately owned and under no circumstances may it be accessed for swimming or any other recreational activity. Guests should also be aware that it is a reservoir not a lake and is therefore considerably colder than a lake and the risk of cold water shock is extremely high.
