"We loved this home. It served as the lodging for my family and my now-fiancé’s family after a successful surprise engagement on one of the Skytop trails. The house was just the right size for about 10, with some room to spread out! We took advantage of the Skytop amenities and it made for the most unforgettable weekend. The entire process was seamless. Would love to come back one day soon!"

"This Cresco home has some definite advantages. The outsides are beautiful in the snow, the hot tub was lovely, and the game room was fun. The hosts were quick to respond to messages on the app and tried to be helpful where they could. Beds were comfortable and clean. Most things were serviceable and overall we were able to enjoy ourselves. There are plenty of ways to enjoy this location, but you may expect an easier experience for your money.However, after 20 years of renting with this same group of people, our impression was that the house did not live up to the expectations at the price point. The stairs were not de-iced prior to arrival, and this presented a potentially treacherous entry. Remote controls were misplaced, missing batteries, or just overall missing which made using the movie room (a major draw for the property) difficult. The sauna never got hot enough for its purpose. There were various other small factors that would not be deal breakers but wouldn't be expected at this cost (empty soap dispensers, fragile furniture we avoided, a lack of basic kitchen equipment like full size cutting boards, etc.). "

"Our large group had a great time at Green Gables. Communications with our hosts were prompt and efficient. The home is beautiful and was more than enough room for our 20 group. We were able to prepare meals everyday in the kitchen, there was more than enough room especially with 4 people cooking. The table was way bigger than the picture made it seem. We were able to fit a large amount of us during meals and playing games. Our group was skeptical about the bathroom situation, but the 5 bathrooms and half bath were more than enough for our group. So much so the en-suite bathroom stayed private for the couple staying in that room. The game room and theater room kept our kids entertained. Very large and warm space, pool, mini basketball hoop, foosball, darts, tv to hook up their video games and to sing karaoke! Soundproof movie theater, a yoga room for meditation, and a well equipped gym. I had a chance to walk the property and it is beautiful! The waterfall and pond were relaxing, even in the cold. The kids were even able to go sledding, which they enjoyed very much. The home is well taken care of, clean and attention was paid to every detail, from the signs blending into the decor, non obtrusive, but also letting us know how to work everything and where everything was located. Each room had different names and the decor match perfectly, from the blinds to the bedding, the art and vintage decor. We had a lovely time and cannot wait to go back!. "

"The house was great, All NINE bedrooms were very large & comfortable. plenty of towels. game room and secret card room were fun for the kids and adults. hot tub was in working order & so were all appliances and heat & hot water were excellent. The only one thing that was a little tricky was lots of ice around the property - so not easy coming & going with my elderly parents or getting the kids into the hot tub - but the Ice covered everyone’s property in the entire poconos and the weather was crazy plus they did have ice melt so i’m giving them a pass on this issue. overall we definitely would stay at this property again and the kids said it was the best part about the entire trip! Thanks for a great stay!"

"We arrived with 3 sick teens who got food poisoning on the way up to the rental. The owners were nice enough to let us check in early so we could get settled. We were only there 2 nights to ski at Camelback, which is about a 20 minute drive. We had 4 families for a total of 13 people and there was more than enough room in the house for us! There are endless rooms with all you could need for indoor and outdoor fun. It is not a pretentious place so you feel very comfortable and it's easy to settle in. I'd love to come back in the summer to use the pool, bball court and tennis courts! "
