Amazing location, great property
Overall an amazing property, very well kept, fully of total luxury. The check in process was a bit overwhelming but that’s because we did not follow online instructions provided and that the property is huge. Great experience, will definitely come back!

Spectacular venue for a family gathering
This was a breathtaking property with so much eye candy. And the amenities are plentiful. Also, the instructions for how to use things there were clear and easy. Just a really beautiful villa with amazing views.

Breathtaking house, property and overall experience
The house and property were amazing. We had a small group of family and friends stay for a long weekend and everyone had an amazing experience. We hired chefs to come cook for us and both commented how easy it was to cook and serve our group 14) guests. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space to accomodate much larger groups than ours. Overall our experience was a 10+. Before, during and after our stay, Jess, the house manager, was extremely responsive to our questions and make our trip seamless. Thank you Vine and Rose! We hope to be back soon!

Successful offsite at stunning house and incredible location!
We had a work offsite at this location for a couple nights and the experience was spectacular. The layout really facilitated a work atmosphere as the rooms were all private, with their own bathrooms, and the kitchen was well away from the living rooms/dining room so that food preparation sounds were not a distraction. The grounds are beautiful and conducive to some nice walks. The communication with the property manager was extremely fast and helpful, truly the most responsive host I have ever talked to. We didn't take advantage of any of the nearby restaurants, but bustling downtown Calistoga was only about a 5min drive away. Cleanup and checkout was extremely simple and user friendly. I could not rate this any higher!

A Special Place!
Hard to capture in a photograph how beautiful this property really is. The design is perfect for a family retreat, which we enjoyed for six nights. The way this very large house is layer out - bedrooms exist quietly away from the kitchen and movie theatre. The grounds are amazing even though we went off-season without the green grape vines. Jess was great. Highly recommend for an unforgettable trip.

Wonderful getaway
The host was kind and took the time to show us around. This property sits in the middle of a vineyard and is extremely quiet. The pool area is amazing. Plenty of space for large groups but also works for a single family.

Bully and Health Hazard-Raw Sewage
The property location itself is beautiful and luxurious and the Property Manager, Jess, and referred concierge, Laurel, is professional, however, I assure you the customer service and poor maintenance is more of a nightmare. A group of my family, friends and I went to the property to celebrate my son’s 27th birthday. There was no tour of the home’s amenities and no instruction on how to use the air conditioner or heater or any appliances and we had to ask to be shown the theater room and sound system. I asked then to have the pool heated. I was told it could take a day due to the size of the pool and that he could only heat the sauna/spa first and then he would do the pool. One of the toilets began to overflow the morning after our first night's stay and I notified the Assistant Property Manager, Anthony, as instructed. He never responded to my text or voicemail message. After 7 hours of no restroom use, Laurel, a Concierge (referred to us by the owner) contacted the Property Manager, Jess, who is pregnant and on maternity leave to try to get the issue resolved. Before Jess arrived, the Assistant Manager then texted me back and told me that the toilets were clogged because I had placed pizza dough in the garbage disposal. I advised him that I had not used the kitchen in all in the time we had been there and we had been using the Concierge referred to us by the owner for all meals. I further advised him that I have been a Property Manager and Real Estate Agent for over 30 years and I was well versed in plumbing issues and the garbage disposal was not clogged and that there were no plumbing issues in the kitchen. Additionally, the plumbing, gray water and foul odor were from sewage which is a very separate matter than a garbage disposal clog which was not even the issue. Jess, the Property Manager, came by later that night, to try to resolve the issue but was unable to do so. The toilets in each bathroom continued to overflow and sewage came up in the Master Bath and corner bathroom showers. There was grey sewage standing water outside the bar area on the patio which created a foul smell. We were told that the water had to be shut off yet water still began to pool on all the downstairs bathroom floors. I called her back to advise her that Maintenance had not properly cut off the water and that I went ahead and turned off all water under each bathroom sink. Surprise Engagement trip actually date was 2010
Its been long overdue for this review and to the the Awesome owners I apologize. My surprise trip to my now Fiance was back in 2010 and what a trip it was. I wanted to go big or not go at all as they say. I tracked down this magnificent Estate and with all the help from the owners planned a masterful Engagement for the love of my life. Though they normally tend to large groups and longer stays they made an exception and allowed my party of seven to fill in on short notice. We felt like Kings and Queens. Every aspect of the Estate is pure delight. The kitchen was fabulous for all of our stay in meals. The movie room perfect before a nightcap and show after any long day at the wineries. The rooms first class and though I only stayed in the Master bedroom which was unbelievable my other guest's morning happiness showed their pleasures. The Master bathroom there is absolutely no words for and I miss it every day since. At times in the house you forget you have guest with you as it is so spread out from end to end. I proposed on the 3rd day 6am out back with the fog rolling down the mountainside. Stunning and Breathtaking all in one. I have been fighting to return and just get married at the house buy my Fiance's life dream is to get Married on the Ocean. You will never go wrong figuring out how to make it happen staying at this Estate. Top notch owners as well as venue. Make it happen and you will not be disappointed. To the amazing owners we will be back and we hope that you will allow us to stay at your gorgeous Estate again. We will never forget our engagement thanks to you. So sorry for the well deserved but delayed review.

Loved it!
We celebrated our anniversary with friends in Napa and stayed at this wonderful estate. It was as lovely as the pictures suggested. We particularly enjoyed morning coffees on the deck enjoying the beautiful surroundings and afternoon sunbaths on the pool deck that felt like you were at a high end resort. I wish we could petition Napa county to be a bit more lax with their noise regulations at night but if keeping quiet is the biggest problem with a rental property then I am delighted... The owner thoughtfully showed us around on arrival and we have had excellent service dealing with everyone related to the property. This property comes highly recommended!
