We also own 1 other luxury villa next door. Property number 1317328 in case more than one family want to holiday together and if the weeks requested are already reserved on this property.For a wonderful holiday this SUPERB LUXURY villa aptly named " Tropical " is located in a very secluded quiet cul de sac in one of the warmest micro climate locations in Madeira called Arco da Calheta. This Villa offers 3 double bedrooms, one single bedroom and another extra single bed.
The master bedroom has an en suite modern bathroom and there is another bathroom and a toilet in the Villa. There is a fully fitted modern kitchen with all amenities and a separate laundry room. There is Wi-Fi connections and cable TV in the villa. There is off road private parking with a garage and the lovely gardens also have a barbecue area for outdoor dining. Having a holiday in this lovely villa provides everything for a great holiday. Last but not least there is a private swimming , security alarms and electric gates open to provide off road car parking. The pool can be heated up to 26 degs and this price will be 30 Euros per day.

All shops within walking distance but a car highly recommended to see this lovely island.

The most relaxing vacation ever
The hosts were courteous, very helpful and always available for us. The villa left nothing to be desired; everything was to our complete satisfaction. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the right place. we can only recommend this offer to everyone - we had a great time there and may book again in the autumn.

Quiet location, lots of space with everything you'll need
The property has lots of space, was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool was perfect for our two boys. Rosa was the perfect host and the welcome cake was delicious! The location is quiet. We needed a car but there were some bars/restaurants and a small shop within walking distance. It was a good base to explore the island with the car and Funchal is an easy car journey. Thank you for a great week. We hope to be back soon!

Great Villa for family vacation
Villa was super clean and the beds and furniture were very comfortable. The location was perfect. We found lots of good restaurants nearby, loved the pool and were able to explore a lot of the island. Communication and check in were very clear and easy.

J'ai bien aimé la maison et son environnement mais je suis assez déçu car l'option payante de la piscine chauffée présentée dans l'annonce que javais pourtant réservée et que l'on m'avait garantie avant le séjour n'était pas au rendez-vous. La piscine était gelée et impraticable. Cela nest pas très professionnel d'autant que j'avais choisi cette maison pour cela. Autres petits bémols: la hotte de la cuisine ne fonctionnait pas et on ne capte pas la wifi dans les chambres.

Villa is very large and has all amenities you need while away. However while we were there the Pool lighting wasnt working so we couldnt use the pool late in the evening and the washing machine wasnt working either. Besides that everything else was fine. The location is high up in the hills so you will defintely need a car to get around as there isnt much in the way of local shops and bars etcbut the local town and beach is only 5 min by car. The remoteness of the villa does offer superb views however and it is very tranquil

Belle Villa
Idéalement située au sud, elle nous a permis d'accéder à toutes les visites prévues sur l'île en maximum une heure de route. Bien qu'un électroménager un peu vieillissant, elle a répondu à nos attentes. Rose est adorable, très serviable et merci encore pour le gâteau d'accueil très apprécié.

Wonderful holiday in a beautiful place
We enjoyed our holiday at the villa. Everything was perfect - from booking to checking in on arrival to checking out. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and could be contacted at any time. The villa was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool and the BBQ area were fantastic. The pool was very warm and we used it throughout the day and in the evenings (quite often as late as 10pm). We were greeted by Rosa on arrival, she gave us all the information and answers all our questions. Delicious homebaked chocolate cake was a bonus - the kids could not get enough of it. The area is lovely - people are friendly, the views are beautiful and the beach is only 5 minutes drive. Many lovely restaurants short drive away too. We all enjoyed our stay at the villa and in Madeira, it was a fantastic holiday. Thank you to our lovely hosts for making us feel so welcome.

Almost perfect
The house is quite huge. We kept making a wrong turn looking for one of the upstairs bathrooms 😊 Clean, neat, tidy, with everything you could want for a relaxing stay. Large airy living room with comfortable sofas. Well equipped kitchen with all utensils including sharp knives! Luxury. A short uphill trek to shop and bar. Quite private with shrub planting, although that may change a little with the 2 new houses being built opposite. Flexible and efficiently serviced by Rosa, with owner Alberto on the site opposite most days should there be any problems (there weren't).

Beautiful place
We arrived in this beautiful place on Dec 21st & enjoyed the magic of Christmas with pretty lights in every village all the way from the airport to Calheta and beyond. The beauty didnt end there. The forests, moors, beaches, mountains and even the volcano were just around a corner or through a tunnel. Each double bend brought yet another wow factor. Amazing place. The fireworks were a real treat. Worth coming to Madeira for the fireworks alone! 25 stations of the most incredible firework displays at new year in Funchal, wow wow wow! Truly amazing. The villa was beauitiful, the pool on the west of the house didnt quite get the winter sun we had hoped but at 28 degrees it was pleasant enough to swim in. The lounge and bedrooms were comfortable and our stay was really relaxing. We are looking forward to our next visit to Madeira as there is so much to see and do. Thank you Rosa and Alberto for your kind hospitality.

Nice Villa - recommended
The house is situated in the village of Arco de Calheta. It is a luxury Villa, very well equiped with a nice pool, very clean, good kitchen, nice bedrooms & bathrooms, Good privacy. We stayed with 5 people using the 4 bedrooms. But you need a car to go there and move around. Next supermarket in Calheta. Buy shrimps and grill them at home - there is a grill next to the garage. Pricing was resonable. No Probs in getting in and out.

We had a good time staying in this Villa. We spent a week and enjoyed each day. Spacy and modern villa with a nice pool, barbeque....Alberto is very friendly and always there when need it. Nice view, quiet but you surely need a car all the time to get around. Service and handling keys with Rosa was perfect, polite, friendly, tips was great ...thanks overall we recommend this villa.

Great place to stay...
My family and I stayed here in July and thought it was fantastic. Great villa with plenty of room and tasteful decor. Private pool was nice, especially for a swim in the evening. A handful of decent restaurants within 5 minutes drive *Italian Pizzeria at top of hill was friendly and had the best quality food. Car essential. Bigger engine the better, my 1.2 litre Renault struggled on the hilly roads a little bit. Madeira is beautiful and our 2 weeks holiday there was enhanced by the villa. Definitely recommend.

Luxurious house on a beautiful location
We enjoyed staying in this house very much, it was located with a beautiful view in a nice little village. The house was very complete, luxurious and clean. All facilities we expected were present, we even had wifi. From this location we could reach each location in Madeira within about an hour. The supermarket and most restaurants were only a 5 minute drive away. We would recommend this house to anyone!
