The pension as a whole is fine, separate bathrooms, the cleanliness etc is fine. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and a minor thing the coffee machine did not work.
I had to contact the manager to see if my traveling companion was ok as she was not responding to my knocks on the door and the manager did not see any urgency even though the plans we had made were broken and I did not know where she was, she eventually turned up, but the manager did not.
We booked 2 rooms for a group of 5 doing the Camino de Santiago. On arrival we were initially advised by the very rude owner that she had cancelled the booking. When we produced the reservation she then said that she had only one room for 4 people but wanted us to pay 80€ on top of what we had already paid for the 2 rooms. She did offer accommodation at an alternative hotel for the 5th person but that would cost 35€.
In the end we decided to take the 4 people room but refused to pay extra and one of us had to stay in a nearby Alberque.
All in all a terrible experience with someone that clearly wanted to scam us.
The breakfast consisted of a carton of orange, a sweet bun and coffee pod.
Also she only spoke Spanish but advertises that she can speak multiple languages.
Fairly easy-to-find location, but check-in process and obtaining access to our room was lengthy and confusing. Cramped reception area, which was really just a desk in a hallway. Few amenities. Room ok, but loud at night. Free breakfast was disappointing.
This was a weird set up. Once I got into my room, I was pleased, but the check in process was confusing and frustrating. I think they should post instructions on the site before you book, and if you do book, send the check in instructions beforehand so you don’t have to rely on other travelers to let you in.
We had to pay €15 out of pocket on top of our hotel bookings price we already paid because the owner said there was a price wrong through hotel bookings, needless to say we had a receipt from hotel bookings confirming our reservation for two people and she still wouldnt give us the room we booked unless we paid an extra €15. We therefore were forced into it as you cannot cancel the reservation after booking unless you want to forfeit the reservations fee. Very disappointed

When we arrived at approx. 5:30 pm we were told that the room is not available due to mechanical issues. After waiting and explaining to two ladies in the store next door (who were also managing guests' check in) we were offered a double room at Lotus hotel. Issue was solved but the check in at our booked place never happened.
no air conditioning as mentioned so the whole night was a nightmare, impossible to stay w/o air conditioning, outside was 39 degrees during the day so in the night the apartment being transformed in a oven.
Propert owner (Maria) very friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The place given us has amenities like kitchen, clothes washer etc. she’s very attentive to the needs of the guests.
Nice property just off the Camino and easy to get back on in the morning. It waa hot out and we just wanted air conditioning and a shower. We were welcomed warmly. There had been an issue with the A/C and she tried to fix it for us, but when couldn't promptly moved us to a ver cool room next door. We slept great!.
Arrived at the building which is apartments, you ring a number and a lady who didnt speck English tells you to get into the lift and go to floor 4. She opens a door to an apartment which has 4 rooms which shares bathrooms. My room was upstairs in the attic which was tiny and smelt of damp but at least I got a bathroom all to myself. Was way over priced at €40 a night not worth it. You never see the lady again you just leave the key at reception when you leave!! All I kept saying it's only 1 night!! Hotels.com need to stop giving this as an option because it's not a Hotel, it's an apartment with 4 rooms and shared bathrooms...and a tiny attic room not for tall people!!
