"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 19 Tile. There's virtually no street presence to the space though. We found ourselves tentatively knocking on a door we thought was correct and we were right but there is no hotel signage otherwise. Each room is decorated by a large artist which is a delight. Breakfast had a large ceramic giraffe holding a chandelier in it's mouth to light the space. It's quirky and I recommend it highly!"

"The location, staff, and view were all amazing. The room also received a 10% discount at the downstairs restaurant which was very nice. Overall an amazing stay and I will rebook the same room for my next visit."

"It was a perfect place to watch the waves of Nazare. Simon went out of his way to help us find restaurants and kept us on great conversation over drinks. The location was close to the ascensor to the fort and couldnt have been easier to navigate. "

"Owner is very kind and responsive. The local manager is kind also and speak English well. There was an issue for a day and half where our master shower was not working due to a missing piece so our family of five needed to use the smaller unit. Not a problem but just inconvenience. I had to be proactive in this communication but after the owner personally called and wanted to make sure the unit issue was addressed. They did get then handy man to come and fix it. Outside of this challenge, the unit is clean, close to great hiking, and owned/managed by kind people."
