"Nice comfortable bed. Kitchen with some supplies like microwave and some plates. Fresh refridgerator. Elevator. Nice tv. They helped us to rent scooter with good price! The location is a bit off, 20 minutes to beach, 15 minutes to main road. You need a bike. Shower hot but very weak waterpressure. ..."

Calangute town is very busy- it is quite scary if you're driving scooter. Avoid.

Calangute has a nice mix of things. You can find pockets of quiet sand to relax, or enjoy the range of water sports that Goa offers. Lots of restaurants of varying quality and price in the area. The sea was very rough during our visit.

Rather visiting Calangute beach I recommend visiting Tivai Beach. Just google map Chelsea Shack and that área is the perfect spot to stay at the beach.
