This property was very quiet, close to Kalakmal and close to Becan ruins. We took a tour to Kalakmal from the property. The property was clean and very affordable.

Casa Kaan is amazing, a truly relaxing and peaceful oasis and perfect access to Calakmul and other activities in the area. Our house was clean and comfortable and their restaurant is excellent as well. So glad we stayed here instead of chaotic Xpujil, highly recommend!!

Nice clean cabanas, lovely forest surrounding. Great staff, very helpful. Second visit here this time restaurant not as good and found bathroom very small. Signs for lodge nonexistant if heading west

Everything is lovely about this location, the staff, the food, the location, the suite itself. The only minor thing to keep in mind will be the fact that there will be bugs crawling around the area, since you are in the middle of the jungle. They give you a bug spray but it doesn't keep them away for long. Not a complaint at all, just a note for people with bug phobia to keep in mind. Otherwise I will definitely go back. Also please note that Calakmul is current closed on Monday's, so if thats the purpose of you trip. Keep it in mind.

The biggest issue was with the shower. The water was cold, and the pressure was so low that it was just dribbling out of the showerhead. Showering was difficult. Also, our room had many bugs (mosquitoes, grasshoppers, etc.). I let the front desk know, but they suggested we deal with it ourselves, which was a bit surprising. The worst part was the front desk started insulting us in Spanish after our requests (I presume they thought we didn’t understand Spanish). I would not recommend this hotel.

Recht ruhig gelegen, direkte Nachbarn sieht man nicht. Sehr gut gelegen zu den nächsten Sehenswürdigkeiten, frühes Frühstück möglich. Straße nach Calakmul momentan montags wegen Bauarbeiten scheinbar geschlossen, Besichtigung dort dann nicht möglich. Das Bett war leider recht klein für zwei Personen und auch nicht sonderlich bequem. Das Abendessen vor Ort ist vorzüglich.

Son cabañas en medio de la selva, a hora y media aproximadamente de la entrada a Calakmul, de donde son otros 60 kms para llegar a la zona arqueológica. Buena opción para una tarde de relajamiento, muy buena atención y tienen un restaurante bastante bueno, un menú variado y buen sazón

Wir haben uns ganz kurzfristig einen Bungalow gebucht um hier einen Zwischenstopp für die Tempel einzulegen. Wir sind mehr als positiv überrascht. Die Bungalows sind unglaublich sauber, unter dem Bett ist nicht mal ein Staubkorn zu finden. Die Unterkunft ist komplett über Alexa steuerbar und technisch somit auf dem neusten Stand. Die Anlage ist wunderschön und es mangelt an nichts, die Getränke aus der minibar sind preislich absolut erschwinglich. Preisleistung ist top, wenn man die Lage bedenkt, näher an den Tempeln kann man nicht sein. Habe hier das erste mal Kolibris gesehen und davon auch nicht wenige, richtig toll!
