"The staff was just SO sweet. Our group of 4 was not in the mood to go out for dinner, so they set up a spread in the kitchen. Somehow we booked the honeymoon suite so were surprised to find a big heart of rose petals on our bed as well as champagne and Cokes. They let us park right out front the entire stay. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cal Talaia. Teresa and Uli were great hosts. It felt as though we had the entire village to ourselves. The apartment was well equipped with an extensive kitchen, large dining table and comfortable beds. A great place for rest, relaxation, walking (our dogs loved it too) and appreciating the beautiful scenery. We basked in the winter sun. A highlight of our week in Glorieta was a ceramics lesson with Teresa in her studio. Her own work decorates the house and gardens and contributes a magical quality to the warm and welcoming environment. "

"If you don't mind walking 15 min a bit uphill, not steep, from the train station (past a small market) this is a great option. Missed my train to Monserrat and stayed here. It was a gem really. Clean, coffee maker in room, excellent shower, comfortable bed. Another 12 min to rack railway. Arrived after 7pm, hotel restaurant was closed but owner had reached out on Whatsapp with code for entry (phone number on door). Thank you!!!! Great option for price. Would stay again. "

We took the train about two days. Charming narrow streets and hidden bakeries. Parking free and available. There was a coffee pot and coffee! We would choose it again. "
