"Excellent boutique hotel every room has ocean view. Low key location and area. Nice restaurant and bar and pool all overlooking the ocean. Truly amazing facility! Small hotel left my valuables in my room never locked the door. Snorkeling in front of hotel at reef, has dive shop with dive sites 5-10 minute boat ride. I travel the world extensively this location is special as is the service and attention! You will not be disappointed. "

"Staff went above and beyond for our stay at every turn, at one point my rental car even had a flat and not only did the parking lot guard wave me over to draw my attention to it, they freely helped in swapping to a spare and getting in contact with the rental company when my phone had trouble reaching them. I can't thank the staff at the Bayleaf enough for all they did for us during our stay. It was a peaceful and relaxing experience every single day and exactly what I had hoped for in a vacation. "

"I had some meetings in Calaca and decided to stay the night in Canyon Woods. I was not expecting much from previous reviews and I was surely IMPRESSED with what I saw. Check In was very efficient with knowledgeable staff. The room itself was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning which is a must was strong and cool. The best thing about this hotel is the view during sunrise. You get a glimpse of the sun with the Taal Lake as your background. The breakfast was plated but very good. The bangus fish meal is highly recommended. Overall! Pleasantly surprised. I will come back with my family to enjoy the various amenities this resort has to offer. "
