"If you want peace and quiet this is it. Town is a 5 minute drive and you do need a car here. You can drive to the beach within the hotel grounds. A walk would be some 15-20 minutes but very pleasant.Good restaurants and bakery nearby. They have stock of beach umbrellas so don't buy one!"

The hotel was surrounded by a beautiful landscape and had a much more cozy and friendly feel to the place. "We had a lovely time at the Finca Es Carbó. Our room was spacious and clean, and the bed very comfortable. There were lots of towels and a lovely view over the pool. But the best thing about the Finca was our host Tania. She was so enthusiastic about everything, and gave us great tips on things to do (like the Cuevas del Drach and the small church at St. Blai). "We had a wonderful time in this VRBO. The home was clean, well supplied, and a beautiful setting. It is in a community with no restaurants or groceries, which we didn’t understand when we booked. It was not really a huge problem since we used a taxi to get anywhere we needed to go. Unfortunately we didn’t get guidance from the property manager so we had to figure everything out from scratch. "What an incredibly beautiful hotel!! The staff would go above and beyond. The hotel room was stunning and smelt amazing… in fact the entire hotel smells amazing! Bars and restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast buffet had great options and you could order eggs and crepes too. We had a lovely long weekend and can’t wait to return again sometime. "

"Honestly, we were most excited about this stay on our honeymoon and it was a miss. This was our 3rd Michelin key hotel of our trip and it truly did not compare to the others. The grounds were beautiful, but the service and overall experience wasn’t. The missing piece to describe it all was lack of attentiveness. From introduction to the hotel at the start, to the pool area/service, to staff at breakfast, to service at the Michelin restaurant. Overall it felt like a 4 star hotel, rather than a 5. As honeymooners, we let the hotel know this in advance, every other 5 star hotel on our trip made sure we felt the warmth and service, this was an absolute miss from them. The spa, was missing water in the water jugs upon entry, there was not an employee in site for the 2-3 hours we spent there. The massage was great but to label this a unico spa experience, it wasn’t. When we got there as honeymooners, a little bottle of wine or glass or card to say “congrats” would have been us feel a bit more special during our stay. To be honest, we wanted to explore this hotel and recommend it to our friend next year for her wedding, based on size and look from our booking, but we quickly redirected and told our friend not to. Honestly, really really wish it was a better experience. "
