External Walls need painting, some of the bathrooms need updating and the dishwasher and toaster didn’t work. The owners did get someone in immediately to repair the dishwasher , but it still leaked when they had gone."

"Really enjoyed our week's stay. Fantastic property, clean very well appointed and the host was very kind in leaving us some items for arrival. Comporta area was very quiet which for us was perfect, no need for reservations at restaurants even at the weekend. Due to the off season it meant driving out to dinner to Comporta of other places which were all within 10 minutes."

"The property is great. Plenty of amenities and a large yard great for kids or friends looking to play lawn sports or run around. The pool is nice and a great way to spend the day. All of the bathrooms are clean and plenty of towels are available. The location is a little outside of the city along a dirt road. "Nice quiet stay away from the hustle of downtown Comporta (~12 min drive). I enjoyed walking to nearby local coffee shop for my espresso and the Leonardo supermarket for some daily supplies. I’m a little on the taller side; so, had to watch my head when walking through the doors (not an issue if one is under 5’10”). Otherwise, having a/c here is a big plus and necessary given the strong summer alentejo sun."

The house was equipped with all we needed for a comfortable stay and there were supermarkets within a 10 minute's drive. Vasco was a great host and available whenever we had any questions. I thoroughly recommend this villa for a stay in this beautiful part of Portugal."
