Tropical Essence is a unique sanctuary with a surprising sense of space and privacy.
Stylishly appointed, this holiday home offers the chance to enjoy the best aspects of the tropical North Queensland lifestyle.
From the front entrance, the timber deck, BBQ and upstairs living area overlook the sunken pebble salt water pool. Easy living is assured with flowing, open multiple areas featuring polished timber flooring upstairs and tiled floors throughout the lower areas.
A requirement for those tropical days, the house is air conditioned throughout. Down just 4 stairs is the 2nd living area plus sofa bed (suitable for 2 children). This leads to the quiet and private backyard nestled around the entertainment pavilion, ideally furnished for lounging conversation and cool drinks.
Perfect for the entire family, there are 5 bedrooms: 2 x King bedrooms, 1 x Queen bedroom and 1 x twin room, with a further family room adjacent with 1 x Queen bed and 2 singles. The master bedroom has a 26" LCD TV. A light and spacious walk-in robe and ensuite is on one side of the main, on the other an enclosed outside spa awaits, where one can relax in absolute comfort and privacy.
As well as the ensuite in the master bedroom, there is the main bathroom upstairs with a separate toilet plus a 3rd bathroom with toilet in the family room downstairs. Outdoors there is a fantastic hot water double shower for rinsing off after you return from the beach or step out of the pool. A modern fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare gourmet meals plus walk in pantry.
An electronically controlled sliding gate entrance makes a safe enclosed area for children to play with a minimum three car carport.
Only 500m from the beach, it means a short stroll to fine restaurants, the village shops, parks and transport. Go boutique shopping along the cobblestoned Esplanade lined with century old "paperbark" melaleucas and palm trees.

Far North Queensland is a destination within itself, and Palm Cove is the perfect outpost to base yourself to explore all that it has to offer. An easy 25-minute drive from Cairns City, Palm Cove is one of the most loved resort beach towns, it's bounded by the lush tropics of Macalister Range National Park, and its palm-fringed esplanade and patrolled swimming beach graces many a postcard. Combine this with boutique shopping and world-class dining, and you have one destination you will be in no rush to leave.
The best places to explore from Palm Cove:
One of Australia's biggest drawcards, the Great Barrier Reef traverses a whopping 2,300 kilometres and can be seen from outer space. The colourful marine life and reef system can be explored either by boat or up in the air, but our advice is to gear up and dive in with one of the many operators in and around Palm Cove. Quicksilver Group offer a variety of tours that will take you snorkelling, diving or for a cruise amongst the islands.
There is no better way to explore this region than by water. Join a tour or go-it-alone, it is a water wonderland that is just begging to be explored. There is a tonne of options to choose from, but local operators, Palm Cove Water Sports, have several tours to pick from, such as their kayaking and turtle tours, sunrise tour, and kayaking and snorkel tours. You can also hire a kayak (singles or doubles) or paddleboards.
Two-hours north of Palm Cove is the Daintree Rainforest, and it makes for an incredible day-trip. There is so much to do, from Saltwater Crocodiles spotting along Daintree River to hiking the tropical lowland rainforest. Daintree also has Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture in abundance and Cape Tribulation is where the rainforest meets the reef. A picture-perfect sight that you will never want to pull yourself away from. Jump on a tour and soak up natures finest.
