Good size apartment, containing everything you could need. Washing machine and dryer came in handy. Area is a long walk to the main areas of town, but has a nice local bakery and stores nearby. Good welcome and friendly staff. Covered parking good in hot conditions. Only minor issue was noisy plumbing when showering but otherwise quite.

The unit was a studio and nice size, very clean. We enjoyed using the grill for dinner too. The owners were helpful, friendly and helped with our transportation needs. John even drove us to the Reef Terminal one morning. It's a bit over a mile to the main part of the Esplanade and harbor. We did walk it several times. Otherwise it was about $9 US each way for a taxi.

We have travelled a wide array of destinations across the globe but i have never met a more polite, respectful and wonderful gentleman such as John the owner and manager here. We really don't have words to express our gratitude to this gem of a person. He was always willing to go out of his way to help up, be it helping with finding things to do, directions or anything to make our stay confirtable. The dishwasher in our unit broke down (obviously not his fault), he provided a whole set of clean dishes and even washed our dirty ones in his own unit! He put the clean dishes in the right place while we were away. He helped us by giving us an extended check out time for free. Any time in Cairns, this is the place to stay. Thanks John and wish you all tge best.

Just an average property. Their gift basket included toilet paper. If you stay longer, you will need to buy your own. To set up an excursion was a bit difficult. They did go above and beyond to mail a package for us.

I was very impressed and grateful I could pop up to my room before it was ready for me to drop off my cake that I had transported up from Townsville and was allowed to put it in room. We booked this property because it had a four star rating …we were very disappointed with the unit. The kitchen had appliances that were so old we didn’t bother to use them…they looked like they would not even work (dishwasher would not close). Fridge was stained and felt dirty. We ate out for the duration of our stay. The bathroom was old, with mould stains on the grout and the shower head did not work properly. The ceiling fan in one bedroom was falling down and looked too dangerous to use. The AC units were old and noisy. There was a lot of noise from neighbouring units and the street/traffic. Overall impression of the property is that it requires updating and better maintenance.
